20100121827CIM DATA QUARANTINE - One aspect of the present invention includes performing a quarantine of inaccessible data within a CIM dataset that is managed by a storage service, and a recovery of this data within the CIM dataset once it becomes accessible. In one embodiment, after a first request is made through a CIM agent to the inaccessible data managed by a storage service, the storage service is quarantined within the CIM dataset. This includes terminating any active threads to the service and preventing new threads from accessing the service. Accordingly, the data is hidden from subsequent requests with the CIM agent and any requests to the inaccessible data are prevented. The storage service is then queried so that when the data becomes accessible, the device services for the storage service are restarted. Once restarted, new threads within the CIM agent are able to access the data within the storage service.05-13-2010

20110226919TELESCOPING MOUNTING SYSTEM FOR A RECESSED LUMINAIRE - A lighting assembly for a recessed luminaire includes a plaster frame for supporting the recessed luminaire and a pair of telescoping bars for attaching the plaster frame to framing support members. The telescoping bars include a first bar and a second bar, each of the bars having a generally S-shaped cross-sectional profile that is defined by a center curve joining a first area and a second area, which are generally hook-shaped and extend perpendicularly from the center curve in opposing directions. The first area of the first bar is overlappingly positioned at least in part within the second area of the second bar, and the first area of the second bar is overlappingly positioned at least in part within the second area of the second bar whereby the first and second bars are mated in an inverted and opposed adjacent relationship allowing sliding extension of the bars.09-22-2011
20110228543Translating Aperture Adjustment For A Recessed Luminaire - A mounting assembly includes a stationary plate for supporting and linearly adjusting a recessed fixture in a parallel direction relative to structural framing members. Telescoping mounting bars are fixed to a building structure and allow adjustability of the stationary plate in a direction generally perpendicular to structural framing members. An adjustable plate has a plurality of linear guides received in a linear movable manner within a corresponding one of linear guide slots of the stationary plate. A linear locking member is adjustably secured in one of the linear guide slots such that linear movement of the adjustable plate is prevented relative to the stationary plate when the linear locking member is in a locked position, linear movement of the adjustable plate being allowed relative to the stationary plate in a direction parallel to the structural framing members when the linear locking member is in an adjustable position.09-22-2011

20100017726Web Traffic Driven Information Exchange - Presently disclosed is a small, easy-to-use and low-cost device and method of exchanging contact information, information on hobbies, shared interests, images, business advertising, etc., with selected individuals. The method of exchanging contact information may be used to drive users to a website to access information stored on the website. These individuals might be encountered at business or other locations such as trade shows, social functions, and entertainment events. The device is configured to exchange device IDs with other devices without exchanging other personal information. Users of the device may log into a website and download exchanged device IDs. The user may then select a level of access to personal information for each user assigned to each exchanged device ID.01-21-2010

20090311378METHOD FOR CONTINUOUS PRODUCTION OF FERMENTED DAIRY PRODUCTS - The invention provides continuous methods for preparing a fermented dairy product, the methods including steps of fermenting a dairy base with agitation while measuring the viscosity change of the fermentation mixture until an initial fermented dairy base having a target viscosity is achieved. The initial fermented dairy base is then preferably further fermented to a final fermented dairy base without agitation.12-17-2009

20110064848USE OF ELECTRICITY TO INCREASE THE TRANSFER OF MOLECULES ACROSS BIOLOGICAL MEMBRANES FOR THE ACCELERATION OF DAIRY FERMENTATION - A process for preparing a dairy fermentation product comprises inoculating lactic acid bacteria into a dairy base composition and initiating fermentation. Electrodes are placed in direct contact to the inoculated dairy base composition, and electric pulses are created, whereby pores are formed in the lactic acid bacteria so that molecules in the dairy base composition gain entry into the lactic acid bacteria.03-17-2011
