20130295097 | Human Antibodies to Fel d1 and Methods of Use Thereof - The present invention provides antibodies that bind to the cat allergen, Fel d1, compositions comprising the antibodies, nucleic acids encoding the antibodies and methods of use of the antibodies. According to certain embodiments of the invention, the antibodies are fully human antibodies that bind to Fel d1. The antibodies of the invention are useful for binding to the Fel d1 allergen in vivo, thus preventing binding of the Fel d1 allergen to pre-formed IgE on the surface of mast cells or basophils. In doing so, the antibodies act to prevent the release of histamine and other inflammatory mediators from mast cells and/or basophils, thus ameliorating the untoward response to the cat allergen in sensitized individuals. The antibodies of the invention may also be useful for diagnostic purposes to determine if a patient is allergic to the Fel d1 cat allergen. | 11-07-2013 |

20090259522 | SYSTEM AND METHODS FOR GENERATING QUANTITATIVE PRICING POWER AND RISK SCORES - The present invention relates to a quantitative pricing power and pricing risk score generator and methods therefore, useful in association with an integrated price management system. Such a system may include a segment generator, a segment pricing power analyzer, and a segment pricing risk analyzer. The segment generator may receive or generate segments associated with a customer. Segment generation uses transaction level data which includes product attribute information, market data, and transaction history data. The segment pricing power analyzer and risk analyzer identify pricing power and risk factors, and assign raw scores to each factor, generates a weight for each raw score for each of the pricing power factors, and generates the quantitative pricing power and risk scores for each segment by computing a weighted average of the factors using the generated weights for each of the raw scores. Weights may be assigned according to default values or may be generated via an optimization. | 10-15-2009 |
20090259523 | SYSTEM AND METHODS FOR CALIBRATING PRICING POWER AND RISK SCORES - The present invention relates to a power and risk score calibrator which includes segment pricing power and risk reconcilers, a segment cartographer, segment power and risk aggregators, pricing power and risk value comparers, and pricing power and risk value calibrators. The reconcilers receive quantitative power and risk scores for each quantitative segment, and receive qualitative power and risk scores for each qualitative segment. The qualitative segment and the qualitative power and risk scores are defined by a user. The cartographer generates consolidated segments. The aggregators may then generate consolidated power and risk scores for each of the consolidated segments, respectively. The comparers then reconcile gaps between the qualitative power and risk scores and the consolidated power and risk scores. From these reconciliations adjustment factors are generated, which are applied by pricing power and risk value calibrators. The calibrators may also perform a drill down to explain the gap between the qualitative scores and the consolidated scores. | 10-15-2009 |

20130257049 | RENEWABLE ENERGY EXTRACTION DEVICE TOLERANT OF GRID FAILURES - A renewable energy extraction device, such as a wind turbine generator includes a turbine driving a hydraulic pump and a variable displacement hydraulic motor driving an electrical generator connected directly to an electricity grid. The hydraulic motor employs electronically controlled valves operated to select the net displacement of working chambers of the hydraulic motor on each successive cycle of working chamber volume. In the event of an electric grid fault causing the maximum absorbable torque of the electrical generator to collapse, the electronically controlled valves are controlled to substantially reduce the rate of displacement of working fluid by the hydraulic motor, rapidly reducing the torque exerted on the generator rotor. This has the benefit of avoiding pole slip which could otherwise cause serious damage. During the fault, the rate of displacement of working fluid by the hydraulic motor is controlled to maintain the phase and frequency of rotation of the generator rotor in synchrony with the electricity grid so that electricity generation can resume rapidly once the grid failure is rectified. Excess working fluid displaced by the hydraulic pump is stored in an accumulator. When the maximum amount has been stored pressurised fluid is discharged through a throttle to avoid damage but maintain pressure within the hydraulic transmission so that electricity generation can resume rapidly if the grid failure is rectified. If the fault persists, the turbine blades are feathered to reduce power input and if the fault persists for a further period of time, the energy extraction device shuts down. | 10-03-2013 |

20130009612 | ENERGY EXTRACTION DEVICE WITH ELECTRICAL GENERATOR AND METHOD OF OPERATING ENERGY EXTRACTION DEVICE ELECTRICAL GENERATOR - A wind turbine generator, or other energy extraction device, has a hydraulic circuit comprising a hydraulic pump driven by a rotating shaft and a hydraulic motor driving an electricity generator. When the electricity generator is switched off, it executes one or more pumping cycles to pressurise the high pressure manifold and therefore recover angular kinetic energy from the electricity generator rotor which can later be used to reaccelerate the electricity generator rotor to the correct operating speed for an electricity grid. Overall energy efficiency is increased and the minimum operating high pressure manifold pressure may be reduced as a result. | 01-10-2013 |
