20140021388 | ELECTRIC VALVE DEVICE, IN PARTICULAR FOR A DEVICE FOR FORMING ICE IN A FRIDGE - An electric valve device including a hollow body with an inlet and an outlet for a flow of fluid, in particular a liquid, between which, inside said body, there is defined a chamber in which there is provided a valve seat intended to cooperate with an associated closing member for controlling communication between the inlet and the outlet; and a tubular guiding formation which is nominally coaxial with the valve seat and inside which there is mounted, axially displaceably to and from the seat, a core which carries the closing member and the position of which with respect to the seat can be electromagnetically controlled by means of a winding or solenoid arranged around said tubular formation. The hollow body and the tubular guiding formation are made as a single piece of moulded plastic. | 01-23-2014 |

20120175541 | SOLENOID VALVE ASSEMBLY FOR CONTROLLING THE FLOW OF FLUID, PARTICULARLY FOR WASHING MACHINES - A valve assembly including a valve body with inlet and outlet ports, between which there is a main valve seat cooperating with an associated main obturator. The obturator defines together with the valve body, a variable volume control chamber in permanent communication with the inlet port through a first passage having a reduced cross-section. The control chamber is adapted to be brought into communication with the outlet port through a second passage having a larger cross-section. Also provided is a solenoid pilot valve including a control coil and a movable core associated with an auxiliary obturator adapted to open and close the second passage. Between the second passage and the outlet port, is defined a second variable volume control chamber, which is delimited in part by the auxiliary obturator, and the movable core associated with the auxiliary obturator is mounted outside of the flow-path of the fluid. | 07-12-2012 |

20080257512 | Single Ply Tissue Products Surface Treated With A Softening Agent - Tissue products are described that have been topically treated with a chemical additive, such as a softener. The softener may be, for instance, a polysiloxane. The polysiloxane is topically applied to a tissue sheet, such as a single ply sheet, so as to form a Z-directional gradient in the sheet. Particular, most of the polysiloxane remains on the surface of the tissue product as opposed to migrating to the center of the sheet. In this manner, tissue sheets are formed with improved softness at lower levels of polysiloxane and without the need for applying any surfactants to the sheet. A system for applying chemical additives to tissue sheets is also described. The system includes a chemical additive applicator, such as a meltblown die that emits the chemical additive through a plurality of orifices. In one embodiment, the system includes a device for periodically cleaning the orifices during application of the chemical additive. The cleaning device may be, for instance, a brush that traverses across the die head when desired. | 10-23-2008 |

20110172496 | DEVICE FOR TRANSAXILLARY BREAST AUGMENTATION AND ASSOCIATED METHOD - Embodiments of the present invention provide a medical device and a method for use with a surgical procedure such as a breast augmentation procedure for facilitating the insertion of a breast implant. For example, one embodiment provides a medical device including a U-shaped member comprising a first portion having a first end, a second portion having a second end, and a third portion extending between the first and second portions opposite the first and second ends. The medical device also includes a handle extending from the first end and an angled member extending from the second end at an oblique angle with respect to a longitudinal axis of the second portion. The angled member and at least a portion of the second portion are configured to be placed through an insertion site in a body for facilitating a surgical procedure, such as guiding a breast implant to a desired location. | 07-14-2011 |
