20100188513 | SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR MONITORING CONNECTIONS WITHIN AN ANALOG VIDEO SYSTEM - The invention relates to a system and method for monitoring connection performance within a network. In one embodiment, the invention is implemented by analyzing an array of status bits outputted by an analog to digital video decoder. By storing and statistically analyzing an array of status information units, the person monitoring the network can quickly and efficiently be notified of a connection problem, such as a degrading connection resulting in an intermittent signal. In another embodiment, the system and method are implemented by analyzing an array of time stamps outputted when processing frames of video from an analog video camera. | 07-29-2010 |

20090313072 | COMPUTER-BASED VEHICLE ORDER TRACKING SYSTEM - A computer-implemented system for receiving a delivery estimated time of arrival (ETA) of an expected vehicle at a customer location is provided. The system comprises at least one customer system for receiving the ETA of the expected vehicle at the customer location from at least one tracking tool. The at least one tracking tool is configured to receive historical vehicle order average information which corresponds to known ETAs of one or more delivered vehicles over a predetermined time frame. The at least one tracking tool is further configured to generate at least one linear regression model in response to the historical vehicle order average information to determine the ETA of the expected vehicle at the customer location. | 12-17-2009 |

20100077462 | SECURE DOMAIN NAME SYSTEM - A method and system for authenticating answers to Domain Name System (DNS) queries originating from recursive DNS servers are provided. A verification component provides a verification that a DNS query originated from the recursive DNS server. An authoritative DNS server receives the query via a network, such as the Internet, and provides an answer to the query to an authentication component. The authentication component then provides an authentication, such as a digital signature, which confirms that the received answer was provided by the authoritative DNS server, and then communicates the answer and the authentication to the verification component via the network. The verification component then verifies that the authentication corresponds to the received answer and sends the answer to the recursive DNS server. When the verification component receives an answer in the absence of a corresponding authentication, the verification component drops the answer. | 03-25-2010 |
