20100317392 | SYSTEMS, METHODS, AND MACHINE-READABLE MEDIA PROVIDING LOCATION-ENABLED GROUP MANAGEMENT - A computer-executed method for managing a group of entities includes receiving an indication from a first user indicating a desire to add members to the group based on proximity to a target, such as a point of interest (POI) or a location of a person. The method also includes sending an invitation to a prospective group member based on a location of the prospective group member during a time window associated with the target. In response to the invitation, an indication is received from the prospective group member as to whether the prospective group member desires to join the group. | 12-16-2010 |

20100005344 | Event-Based Communication in a Clinical Diagnostic Analyzer - A networked clinical diagnostic analyzer is disclosed with support for monitoring by a remote back office. The disclosed analyzer includes a module to detect in real-time events of interest while allowing the back office to modify the definitions of the events. The module may be networked using virtual private networking into the back office network, which is usually different from the network at the site of the clinical diagnostic analyzer's deployment. The real-time alerts allow both a quick response to actual or expected error conditions and the downloading of logged data that is likely of most interest and relevance. | 01-07-2010 |

20090179168 | METHODS AND APPARATUS FOR ADJUSTING A SPRING LOAD IN AN ACTUATOR - Methods and apparatus for adjusting a spring load in an actuator are described. An example actuator includes a housing and a plate. Further, the example actuator includes one or more springs disposed in the housing to apply a force to the plate. Additionally, the example actuator includes a spring load adjuster having a collar extending through and movably engaged to the plate to enable an adjustment of the position of the collar relative to the plate to change a load provided by the one or more springs. | 07-16-2009 |

20090038304 | Hydraulic Isolating Manifold - An isolating manifold fluidly connected between a hydraulic valve and a hydraulic manifold operates to automatically isolate the valve from the hydraulic manifold as the valve is removed from the manifold, without requiring any particular blocking and bleeding procedures to be implemented on the valve or the manifold prior to the removal process. The isolating manifold includes an adaptor removably mounted onto a base with various pressure, control and tank fluid channels disposed in alignment through the adaptor and base portions to allow fluid to flow through each of the channels between the hydraulic manifold and the valve. During operation, the valve is mounted onto the adaptor while the base is mounted onto the hydraulic manifold. The valve may be removed from the hydraulic manifold by removing the adaptor from the base, during which process, the isolating manifold operates automatically to block the pressure and control ports of the hydraulic manifold and to bleed pressurized fluid from the pressure and control channels of the valve to a tank channel so as to automatically isolate the valve from the hydraulic manifold as the valve is removed from the hydraulic manifold. | 02-12-2009 |
