The plurality of network ports share the physical FIFO buffer. The mechanism identifies a FIFO segment under stress within the plurality of FIFO segments. The mechanism reconfigures the physical FIFO buffer to assign a portion of buffer space from a FIFO segment not under stress within the plurality of FIFO segments to the FIFO segment under stress. | 06-11-2015 |

20140253116 | SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR OBTAINING NUCLEAR MAGNETIC RESONANCE MEASUREMENTS ON RESERVOIR FLUIDS FOR PREDICTION OF FLUID PROPERTIES - A nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) measurement system for high pressure and temperature measurements on fluids is disclosed. The system has a sensor assembly that includes a sample holder having a body formed from a non-magnetic metal and defining an interior cavity for receiving a fluid sample, a frame member disposed in the interior cavity of the sample holder, an antenna coil disposed in the interior cavity about the frame member, an inlet that allows the fluid sample to enter the interior cavity, an outlet that allows for the fluid sample to be flushed from the interior cavity, and a magnet assembly having a central bore in which the sample holder is disposed. Adjacent to the sample holder are pulsed field gradient coils for performing diffusion measurements. The system further includes pulse sequencer circuitry that supplies signals to the antenna coil. When the interior cavity of the sample holder is filled with the fluid sample, the antenna coil and the frame member are at least partially submerged in the fluid sample, and the antenna coil obtains NMR measurements of the fluid sample in response to the signals. Related methods and apparatuses are also disclosed herein. | 09-11-2014 |

20150191647 | STABILITY OF VISCOUS FLUIDS IN LOW SALINITY ENVIRONMENTS - In certain instances high shear rates, such as when a fracturing fluid is pumped downhole, tend to degrade the viscosity of low polymer guars in low salinity environments. In the past in order to improve guar efficacy a delayed cross-linker such as ulexite or colemanite, both boron ores, was added. Recently it is been found that by adding a weak base, the overall viscosity of the guar was enhanced. The fracturing fluid typically includes a base fluid, in this case low salinity water, a gelling agent, a delayed crosslinker, a weak base, and other additives useful for treating a well such as friction reducers, buffering agents, clay control agents, biocides, scale inhibitors, chelating agents, gel-breakers, oxygen scavengers, antifoamers, crosslinkers, wax inhibitors, corrosion inhibitors, de-emulsifiers, foaming agents, or tracers. | 07-09-2015 |

20140358595 | PARKING RESERVATION THAT ENCOURAGES CAR-POOLING - A method, system, and computer program product for parking reservation that encourages car-pooling are provided in the illustrative embodiments. A processor, at a first mobile data processing system representing an automobile, receives an input to create a reservation for a parking location. A second mobile data processing system is detected, wherein the second mobile data processing system is within a threshold distance of the first mobile data processing system. A determination is made whether a movement of the second mobile data processing system relative to the first mobile data processing system is less than a threshold measure of the movement. Responsive to the determining being affirmative, a qualifier is applied to the reservation to obtain a benefit in the reservation, wherein the qualifier accrues a benefit to the reservation. | 12-04-2014 |
20140358596 | ENVIRONMENTALLY-FRIENDLY PARKING RESERVATION SYSTEM - A method, system, and computer program product for an environmentally-friendly parking reservation system are provided in the illustrative embodiments. A computer receives a request to make a reservation for parking a vehicle in a parking area. A parking location in the parking area is selected in an application, forming a selection. The computer modifies the selection based on a qualifier in the request, the qualifier indicating an environmentally-friendly aspect of the vehicle. The computer generates a response, the response identifying the parking location. | 12-04-2014 |
