20120023940 | HIGH PERFORMANCE ORC POWER PLANT AIR COOLED CONDENSER SYSTEM - An air-cooled condenser system for an Organic Rankin Cycle power plant includes a support structure formed of a plurality of truss members that are coupled together in a spaced apart orientation to horizontally support a plurality of side-by-side condenser bundles. A plurality of fans are likewise supported by the truss members and are disposed above the condenser bundles to draw air across the condenser bundles. Each fan extends over at least two condenser bundles and preferably at least three bundles. An air plenum is provided to establish a minimum separation between each fan and its corresponding condenser bundles so as to fluidly couple each fan to at least two condenser bundles, while at the same time decoupling the air inlet and air exit for the system, thereby minimizing air recirculation. | 02-02-2012 |

20090190571 | Method for Transmitting Measured Data, and Sensor Device - A method for transmitting measured data from a sensor device to a control device is disclosed. The method is distinguished in that synchronization messages sent by the control device can be received in the sensor device and, on the basis of the reception of synchronization messages, the sensor device is put into a synchronous mode (SM) in which the sensor device sends data messages comprising the measured data to the control device in sync with the reception of the synchronization messages. A sensor device is also disclosed which is suitable for carrying out the foregoing method. | 07-30-2009 |
20090248346 | METHOD OF CALIBRATING A SENSOR, IN PARTICULAR A YAW RATE SENSOR - The invention relates to a method of calibrating a sensor, in particular a yaw rate sensor, in which sensor values (Y | 10-01-2009 |
20130332030 | INTELLIGENT VEHICLE SENSOR DEVICE - A vehicle sensor device, which includes at least one sensor for detecting the yaw rate of a vehicle, at least one sensor for detecting the lateral acceleration of a vehicle, at least one computing unit and at least one interface of a data bus, especially CAN or FlexRay, via which the sensor signals or sensor data derived therefrom can be transmitted to at least one electronic control device. According to an aspect of the invention, a steering angle sensor is integrated with the other sensors in a housing, and the computing unit carries out plausibility checking and/or calibration of the yaw rate signals and/or the lateral acceleration signals and/or the steering angle signals. | 12-12-2013 |

20090173199 | APPARATUS FOR CUTTING ELASTOMERIC MATERIALS - A method and apparatus is provided for cutting an elastomeric laminate that may include a layer of reinforcement cords, into a desired length without cutting through the cords. The method includes the step of cutting through the gum portion of the elastomeric composite material at a desired skive angle, and then opening up the skived cut. Next, the cord reinforcement layer is cut without severing the reinforcement cords. An elastomeric composite strip cut to the desired length is produced and has cut ends. One of the cut ends has the gum portion cut at a desired skive angle adjacent an overhang portion of the reinforcement layer. The opposite end of the elastomeric composite segment also has a skived portion to mate with the skived portion of the first cut end, and a gap in the cord ply to mate with the cord overhang of the first end, resulting in a splice. An improved anvil having independently controlled vacuum zones is also provided, as well as improved cutting mechanisms. | 07-09-2009 |
20130037195 | SPLIT PLY TIRES AND BEAD AREA MONOCOMPONENTS - An intermediate article of manufacture formed as a first stage bead area subassembly for a split ply pneumatic tire carcass is disclosed. The bead area subassembly has an annular bead core; a bead apex; a ply strip; and preferably a sidewall affixed to the ply strip. The subassembly is formed into a disk-shaped bead area monocomponent. The ply strip is wrapped about the bead core and the apex to form a ply turnup and both the ply strip and the ply turnup extend radially outwardly from the bead core. The bead area subassembly when formed into the disk-shaped bead area monocomponent is placed on an annular holder device. The combination of the bead area monocomponent on the holder device can be stacked for storage and latter assembly into a split ply carcass. Preferably, the ply turnup can be oriented extending inside or axially inward of the bead core on final assembly to form a split ply tire having axially inside turnups. In the preferred embodiment the ply strip is reinforced by radially extending ply cords. | 02-14-2013 |
