20090057045 | HYDRAULIC SYSTEM TO DETER LIFT ARM CHATTER - A skid steer or wheel loader having an implement, such as a bucket, arranged for elevational and tilting movements relative to the frame of the loader has a foot controlled hydraulic system that deters lift arm chatter. An accumulator is directly connected to the conduit between the control valve, which controls raising and lowering of the implement, and the end chamber of the lift arm cylinder that raises the implement. The spool of the control valve is positioned by a mechanically linked foot pedal. The end chamber that lowers the implement is not connected to the hydraulic fluid supply reservoir when the control valve spool is in its neutral position, so that down pressure may be applied to the implement for ground penetration and deter lift arm chatter without having to turn the system on or off at appropriate times. | 03-05-2009 |

20110134797 | WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEMS AND METHODS - A wireless mesh network has a plurality of nodes. One of the nodes, referred to as a “topology building node,” is configured to discover a topology of the network. In this regard, a multicast topology message is transmitted via at least one node of the network. Each node that receive such message transmits a topology multicast reply to the topology building node which adds the transmitting node to the topology if the transmitting node is not already identified by the topology. Upon adding a node to the topology, the topology building node transmits a topology multicast command to the added node thereby causing such node to transmit a multicast topology message. Accordingly, the topology eventually receives a topology multicast reply from each node of the network allowing such node to build a complete topology of the network. | 06-09-2011 |

20110253624 | ANAEROBIC DIGESTER-MEMBRANE BIOREACTOR FOR TREATING A WASTE STREAM - A waste stream having anaerobically biodegradable components is fed to an anaerobic reactor where the components react with microorganisms to biodegrade the components and produce biomass and biogas. Mixing occurs in select portions of the anaerobic reactor, particularly the bottom and top portions of the reactor. Relatively heavy solids settle to the bottom and are mixed with the mixed liquor while relatively light or fine solids float to the top portion of the anaerobic reactor where they are mixed with the mixed liquor. This leaves an intermediate or middle portion of the anaerobic reactor where the concentration of solids is relatively lower compared to the concentration of solids in the upper or lower portion of the anaerobic reactor. Mixed liquor is pumped from the intermediate portion of the anaerobic reactor to a membrane separation unit where the mixed liquor is separated into a permeate stream and a retentate stream that is concentrated with solids. The retentate stream is recycled back to the anaerobic reactor and mixed with the mixed liquor therein. Further, mixed liquor and the relatively heavy solids are pumped from the bottom of the anaerobic reactor to a solids separator such as a hydrocyclone. Here the mixed liquor and solids are separated into a stream concentrated with heavier solids including a high percentage of inorganic precipitants and a lighter solids stream that contains a high percentage of biomass. This lighter solids liquid stream containing mixed liquor is recycled back to the anaerobic reactor for further treatment while the solid stream can be directed to a dewatering unit. | 10-20-2011 |

20140187987 | CUFF FOR ARTERIAL BLOOD PRESSURE MONITOR - A sphygmomanometer with a cuff for use on a patient wrist, upper or lower arm incorporates an inflatable bladder and a support structure. The cuff is subdivided into two sections. The first section holds the bladder against an arterial side of the limb, while the second section abuts a non-arterial side of the limb and is mechanically coupled to the support structure. When the cuff is attached to the patient limb, the bladder is positioned to avoid receiving a gravitational force caused by the weight of the limb. Rather, the gravitational force is absorbed by the support structure in an interior area of the cuff removed from the bladder. | 07-03-2014 |
