20100118449 | NULLING CURRENT TRANSFORMER - This invention relates to a nulling current transformer. More particularly, this invention relates to a nulling current transformer for accurately detecting current and giving an improved response, accuracy and stability using toroidal current transformer technology along with active components. This invention finds particular application in switchgear devices such as residual current devices and metering operations. The nulling current transformer is implemented in a closed magnetic core having at least one primary winding inductively coupled thereto. A secondary winding is also inductively coupled to said magnetic core, the secondary winding being responsive to any magnetic flux generated in said magnetic core. A separate tertiary winding is also inductively coupled to said magnetic core, the tertiary winding being responsive to any magnetic flux generated in the magnetic core. A nulling means is also provided for receiving the output of said tertiary winding and nulling the received output, the nulled output of the nulling means being connected to the input of said secondary winding such that it serves to cancel the magnetic flux in the magnetic core. | 05-13-2010 |

20120195667 | MULTI-FEED DETECTION AND CONTROL SYSTEM - A paper feed system for use in a printing apparatus that detects multi-feeds and separates all sheets while allowing a single sheet to continue into the machine includes a nip with a drive roller for feeding sheets. A reversible pressure roller downstream of the drive roller is connected to a motor, but idles in the direction of the paper feed in normal operation. When a multi-feed is detected, the motor is turned ON and the reversible pressure roll actuated by a controller. The reversible pressure roller has more friction with the sheet in its contact than the friction between sheets. This drives the sheet in contact backwards. This sheet can be diverted to a separate paper path using a gate mechanism and, if desired, fed back into the feed path. | 08-02-2012 |
20120306147 | DUAL NIP MULTI-FEED DETECTION AND CONTROL SYSTEM - A paper feed system for use in a printing apparatus that detects multi-feeds and separates all sheets while allowing a single sheet to continue into the machine includes a nip with a drive roller for feeding sheets. | 12-06-2012 |

20140324965 | RECOMMENDING MEDIA ITEMS BASED ON PURCHASE HISTORY - A media item recommendation can be based on application purchase data. Application purchase data of a population of users can be used to create application preference clusters that represent unique application preference profiles. Media preference data of the same population of users can be used to create media preference clusters that represent unique media preference profiles. A preference relationship between an application preference cluster and a media preference cluster can be identified based on the number of members of the media preference cluster that are also members of the application preference cluster. Upon receiving a recommendation request from a user, the user's application preference profile can be determined based on the user's application purchase data. A media item can then be recommended based on a media preference cluster that has a preference relationship with an application preference cluster that represents the application preference profile of the user. | 10-30-2014 |
