20110048847 | NOISE ATTENUATION DEVICE FOR REDUCING NOISE ATTENUATION IN A JET ENGINE TEST CELL - A noise attenuation device for use in a jet engine test cell for testing a jet engine comprising a carbon steel pipe which is aligned axially with direction of exhaust from the jet engine. The carbon steel pipe is positioned within an augmenter within the test cell. Cold air enters the front end of the carbon-steel pipe. Adding three times the mass of cold air to that of the hot jet exhaust allows the hot jet exhaust to mix with the cold air forming an engine exhaust-cool air mixture. When the engine exhaust-cool air mixture reaches the outlet end of the carbon steel pipe, its temperature is reduced from 3800° F. to less than 1200° F., which substantially reduces noise generated by the jet exhaust. Located in proximity to the rear end of the carbon steel pipe is an annular region which is formed between perforated side plates within the carbon steel pipe and the inner wall of the augmenter. The flow is diffused as the flow area expands in the annular region. The combination of the carbon steel pipe and the annular region slow the velocity of the jet engine exhaust-cool air mixture, further reducing noise production from the jet engine. | 03-03-2011 |

20090099687 | Method and apparatus for continuous motion tipping of tip-on products onto continuously moving base products - A method and apparatus to facilitate accurately matching and placing non-uniformly spaced tip-on products from a friction feeder onto non-uniformly spaced base products that are traveling on a base conveyor while both the friction feeder and the base conveyor are continuously moving. Using encoders on the conveyor drive motors to track conveyor position and electronic sensors to detect the arrival on tip-on products and base products at predetermined points along their respective conveyors, a programmed microcontroller implements an algorithm for adjusting the speed of the sheet feeder's discharge conveyor so that the tip-on product and base product arrive at a matchpoint simultaneously. | 04-16-2009 |

20110149953 | Tracking results of a v2 query in voice over internet (VoIP) emergency call systems - A simplified method of encoding information needed to set the NENA 08-001 v2 Result code based on two essential factors that are stored in a data store at runtime. An ESRResponse header is built with two fields created as simple enumerated types: LocationSrc and RoutedOnAlgo. For each emergency call there is one entry in this data store. The first field of the ESRResponse header comprises one of five possible unique values, as does the second field. | 06-23-2011 |

20150351832 | FLEX TIP FLUID LUMEN ASSEMBLY WITH THERMAL SENSOR - A catheter tip is disclosed comprising a proximal stem that comprises a lumen. An electrode wall that comprises a center cavity can be coupled to the distal end of the proximal stem. An electrode cap can be coupled to a distal end of the electrode wall. An elongate thermocouple element can extend through the lumen of the proximal stem and the center cavity and can be coupled to the electrode cap. The elongate thermocouple element can be turned around a portion of a longitudinal axis defined by the catheter tip assembly. | 12-10-2015 |

20150352327 | DEFLECTABLE CATHETER SHAFT SECTION - A deflectable catheter shaft section is disclosed comprising an elongated body extending along a longitudinal axis with a distal end and a proximal end. First and second pull wires can extend along the elongated body and can have a proximal end and a distal end. First and second pull wire liners can be disposed over a portion of one of the first and second pull wires, respectively. Each of the first and second pull wires can have a proximal end and a distal end. A first gap can exist between the proximal end of the first pull wire liner and the proximal end of the elongated body and a second gap can exist between the proximal end of the second pull wire liner and the proximal end of the elongated body. | 12-10-2015 |
20150360002 | TRIPLE COIL CATHETER SUPPORT - A catheter with three distinct compression resistance coils, including a body coil and two pull wire coils, is disclosed. The triple coil system can provide maximal resistance to compression of the catheter's proximal shaft, as well as maximization of the curve angle that the catheter tip can achieve. Additionally, the tri-coil catheter can allow for a lower initial compression load and a more flexible proximal shaft. A gap between the outer diameter of the pull wire and the inner diameter of the pull wire compression coil that is equal to about 10-30% of inner diameter of the pull wire compression coil can provide optimal catheter performance. | 12-17-2015 |
