20160039059 | ROBOTIC TOOL CHANGER ALIGNMENT MODULES - Alignment modules attached to a robotic tool changer assist spatial orientation and alignment of a robot arm relative to a robotic tool for location training. A three-axis spatial orientation sensor is first attached to an alignment module affixed to a tool unit. The sensor is “zeroed,” or calibrated to the spatial orientation of the tool unit. The sensor is transferred to a corresponding surface of an alignment module affixed to a master unit. The orientation of the robot arm is adjusted to eliminate sensor error signals indicating deviations from the zeroed orientation of the tool unit. An optical signal, such as a cross line laser beam, is then projected between the alignment modules. The x- and y-axis position of the robot arm is adjusted to align the optical signal with alignment markings. When the master and tool units are aligned, the robot arm is advanced in the z-axis direction until the master unit abuts the tool unit. | 02-11-2016 |

20090069703 | SYSTEM FOR ARTIFACT DETECTION AND ELIMINATION IN AN ELECTROCARDIOGRAM SIGNAL RECORDED FROM A PATIENT MONITOR - A system eliminates artifacts from an electrocardiogram signal. The system includes a monitor for receiving an electrocardiogram signal from a patient and a microprocessor utilizing a shift-invariant wavelet transform for decomposing the electrocardiogram signal into a plurality of scales. The microprocessor applies rules to the scales for removing artifacts from the scales. The microprocessor reassembles the plurality of scales to produce a reconstructed and accurate electrocardiogram signal without the artifacts. | 03-12-2009 |

20160042134 | METHOD OF CALCULATING A SCORE OF A MEDICAL SUGGESTION AS A SUPPORT IN MEDICAL DECISION MAKING - A method for generating a medical suggestion useful for supporting a process of medical decision making is presented. A database with a particular, advantageous structure and content allows for the efficient evaluation of received known medical facts based on a set based processing and calculation. Thus, a digital, automatic, and holistic method generating a medical suggestion is provided, which increases the reliability of the selected medical suggestion which is provided to the user as most probable. The structure of the herein provided database provides for maintenance advantages of the database as the complexity is reduced and single structures of the database are manageable and easily understandable. A corresponding medical decision support system is presented as well. | 02-11-2016 |
