Oxidative stress is determined by measuring blood concentration of ophthalmic acid, which is a substance that varies in blood depending on the variation of reduced glutathione (GSH) concentration in a biological sample with the use of an analyzer such as a capillary electrophoresis-mass spectrometer. Further, an anti-oxidative stress agent is screened by administering an anti-oxidative stress candidate agent to a non-human animal under oxidative stress conditions, measuring blood concentration of ophthalmic acid, and evaluating the degree of decrease in the ophthalmic acid concentration. | 01-29-2009 |

20120193527 | Novel Renal Disease Marker Substance in Human - An object of the present invention is to provide a method for accurately determining even a renal disease that could not have been detected by various conventional renal disease test methods with a reduced burden on a subject (a donor of a test sample). Another object of the present invention is to provide a method capable of determining an early stage renal disease, focusing on a renal disease marker substance with a small blind GFR area. Further, another object of the present invention is to provide a novel method for screening for a prophylactic/therapeutic agent for a renal disease capable of efficiently screening for a novel prophylactic/therapeutic agent for a renal disease that focused on a new, previously unnoticed renal disease marker substance. In order to achieve these objects, the present invention employs the step of detecting or quantifying one or two or more renal disease marker substances present in a test blood sample. | 08-02-2012 |

20080244029 | DATA PROCESSING SYSTEM - A transmission cancellation section is provided on a bus connecting a master and a slave. During a reset of the master, the transmission cancellation section blocks the bus so that an invalid command flowing on the bus does not reach the slave and executes, instead of the master stopped by the reset operation, generation of data which corresponds to an access request command already output to the slave and is to be sent to the slave and receiving of data from the slave. | 10-02-2008 |
20090031101 | DATA PROCESSING SYSTEM - Before arbitration is performed in an arbitration section, an access from a master is kept in a waiting state until update of a conversion table buffer is performed, and an address conversion section is provided in a subsequent stage of the arbitration section. Without waiting for the completion of buffer update, an access is issued in advance at a time when it is assured that update is completed at the completion of address conversion. Thus, influences of waiting buffer update on another master can be eliminated and access latency can be reduced. | 01-29-2009 |
20120151108 | DATA PROCESSING SYSTEM - A transfer canceler is provided on a bus connecting a master and a slave together. The transfer canceler interrupts the bus so that an invalid command flowing through the bus does not reach the slave when the master is in the reset state, and at the same time, generates and receives data to and from the slave corresponding to an access request command which has been output to the slave on behalf of the master disabled by resetting. In addition, in order to more quickly complete a process which has been issued to the slave, a circuit is additionally provided which temporarily changes an arbitration priority level or an operating frequency of the slave. | 06-14-2012 |

20120033821 | ACTIVE VIBRATION NOISE CONTROL DEVICE - An active vibration noise control device having a pair of speakers, including: a basic signal generating unit generating a basic signal based on a vibration noise frequency; an adaptive notch filter generating a first control signal provided to one speaker using a first filter coefficient and generating a second control signal provided to the other speaker using a second filter coefficient to cancel the generated vibration noise; a microphone detecting cancellation error between the vibration noise and the control sounds and outputting an error signal; a reference signal generating unit generating a reference signal based on a transfer function from the speakers to the microphone; a filter coefficient updating unit updating first and second filter coefficients, minimize the error signal; and a phase difference limiting unit limiting a phase difference between control sounds generated by different speakers. Therefore, it becomes possible to appropriately ensure a uniform and wide noise-cancelled area. | 02-09-2012 |
20120195439 | ACTIVE VIBRATION NOISE CONTROL DEVICE - An active vibration noise control device is preferably used for cancelling a vibration noise by making a speaker generate a control sound. The active vibration noise control device includes a step-size parameter changing unit which changes a step-size parameter used for updating a filter coefficient. The step-size parameter changing unit calculates a parameter-for-change based on the filter coefficient updated by using a basic step-size parameter, and changes the basic step-size parameter by a minimum value in the previously calculated parameter-for-change. Therefore, it is possible to appropriately change the step-size parameter by using the minimum value of the parameter-for-change. Hence, it becomes possible to effectively suppress a divergence of an adaptive notch filter due to a secular change of the speaker. | 08-02-2012 |
20130195282 | ACTIVE VIBRATION NOISE CONTROL DEVICE - An active vibration noise control device is preferably used for canceling a vibration noise by making a speaker generate a control sound. Concretely, the active vibration noise control device includes an attenuating unit which attenuates a control signal generated by an adaptive notch filter, and provides the attenuated control signal to the speaker, when amplitude of a filter coefficient is larger than a threshold. Therefore, it is possible to suppress continuous ups and downs of the filter coefficient during an occurrence of an abnormality. Hence, it becomes possible to appropriately suppress an occurrence of a cyclic abnormal sound and an increase in the vibration noise during the occurrence of the abnormality. | 08-01-2013 |
20130279712 | ACTIVE VIBRATION NOISE CONTROL DEVICE, ACTIVE VIBRATION NOISE CONTROL METHOD AND ACTIVE VIBRATION NOISE CONTROL PROGRAM - An active vibration noise control device obtains error signals corresponding to a cancellation error between vibration noise and control sounds generated by multiple speakers, from microphone(s), and actively controls the vibration noise. A basic signal generating unit generates a basic signal based on a vibration noise frequency. An adaptive notch filter unit generates control signals provided to each of the multiple speakers by applying a filter coefficient to the basic signal. A reference signal generating unit generates a reference signal from the basic signal based on multiple transfer characteristics from the multiple speakers to the one or more microphones. A filter coefficient updating unit updates the filter coefficient used by the adaptive notch filter unit so as to minimize the error signals. A controlling unit changes amplitude of the control signals of the speakers based on a similarity between the transfer characteristics and characteristics of the vibration noise. | 10-24-2013 |

20090207101 | TWO-DIMENSIONAL CODE PATTERN, TWO-DIMENSIONAL CODE PATTERN DISPLAY DEVICE, AND ITS READING DEVICE - It is an object to provide a two-dimensional code pattern which can be precisely read out at a high speed, a two-dimensional code pattern display device, and its reading device. | 08-20-2009 |
20100170950 | INFORMATION CODE READING DEVICE AND READING METHOD, AND INFORMATION CODE DISPLAY READING SYSTEM - It is an object to provide a reading apparatus of an information code, a reading method, and a display reading system of the information code, in which even if symbol areas serving as references when sampling a photograph image signal obtained by photographing a display screen are not provided in the information code, information code data representing the information code can be obtained from the photograph image signal. When reading the information code displayed on a display apparatus, first, an image signal obtained when all pixel cells of the display apparatus have emitted light is extracted as a first image signal from the photograph image signal obtained by photographing the display screen of the display apparatus. Further, an image signal obtained for a period of time during which the information code is displayed is extracted as a second image signal from the photograph image signal. By detecting a point of a center of gravity of the light emission of each of the pixel cells based on the first photograph image signal and sampling the second photograph image signal at the point of the center of gravity of the light emission, the information code data representing the information code is obtained. | 07-08-2010 |
