20080281080 | Purification of Recombinant Human Factor XIII - The present invention provides improved methods for the purification of factor XIII. In particular, the methods provide compositions containing 5% or less contaminating proteins. In particular embodiments of the present invention the methods provide purified factor XIII compositions comprising less than 1% activated factor XIII, less than 2% protein aggregates, and/or less than 5% charge isomers of factor XIII. The methods do not require the use a precipitation or crystallization step common to prior methods of isolating factor XIII. Instead, the method uses immobilized metal affinity chromatography to remove various contaminants common to recombinant expression of factor XIII. Further, a combination of various chromatography methods including ion exchange chromatography, hydrophobic affinity chromatography, and immobilized metal affinity chromatography comprise a simple and less expensive method to produce a pharmaceutical grade factor XIII product at high yield. | 11-13-2008 |

20140043732 | Plug and Play Control Panel Module with Integrally Socketed Circuit Board - A plug and play control panel assembly having a circuit board with plug in sockets that receive a plurality of electrical components with the board seating in an enclosure having a cover attached that can help capture the components and board therebetween keeping the board seated and the components plugged in. The board includes at least one socket for a power receptacle having outwardly extending terminal blades received in socket slots. One preferred socket is configured for blades of a duplex 120 volt receptacle plugged into a board that preferably is an insert molded circuit board. A control panel module is produced having an insert molded board with plug in sockets on one side for receiving electrical components and at least one plug in socket on its opposite side defining a “plug and play” control panel module that is removably plugged into a larger apparatus during apparatus assembly. | 02-13-2014 |

20090231771 | Magnetic Induction Grid as an Early Warning Mechanism for Space Based Microelectronics - A system for protecting an electronic device from cosmic rays includes a frame in which the circuit is disposed, a cosmic ray detection circuit and a protection circuit. The cosmic ray detection circuit is supported by the frame and is spaced apart from the circuit. The cosmic ray detection circuit is configured to assert an incoming cosmic ray signal when a cosmic ray interacts with the cosmic ray detection device. The protection circuit is coupled to the incoming cosmic ray signal and is configured to cause the electronic device to enter a protected state when the cosmic ray signal is asserted. | 09-17-2009 |
20110107060 | TRANSPOSING ARRAY DATA ON SIMD MULTI-CORE PROCESSOR ARCHITECTURES - Systems, methods and articles of manufacture are disclosed for transposing array data on a SIMD multi-core processor architecture. A matrix in a SIMD format may be received. The matrix may comprise a SIMD conversion of a matrix M in a conventional data format. A mapping may be defined from each element of the matrix to an element of a SIMD conversion of a transpose of matrix M. A SIMD-transposed matrix T may be generated based on matrix M and the defined mapping. A row-wise algorithm may be applied to T, without modification, to operate on columns of matrix M. | 05-05-2011 |

20150137439 | PANEL CARRIER - The present invention is panel carrier for transporting and supporting a panel. The panel carrier includes a frame and a support leg pivotally mounted to the frame. The leg is pivotal between a transport position and a working position. A support surface is provided and is pivotally mounted to the frame. The support surface is pivotal between a transport position and a working position. A panel can be positioned upon the support surface when the support surface and the support leg are in the transport position and thereafter, the support surface and the support leg can be pivoted to the working position to support the panel generally perpendicular to the frame. | 05-21-2015 |

20090056250 | Cable assembly and method for wall-anchoring purposes - An assembly and method for anchoring a wall frame to the foundation of a building utilizes an anchor member which can be threaded upon a threaded shank which is connected to and extends upwardly from the foundation, a cable, a first cable vice which is connectable to one end of the cable and being anchorable to a top member of the wall frame which is positioned upon the foundation, a second cable vice which is connectable to the other end of the cable, and a cap member. The second cable vice is anchorable to the cap member, and the cap member is connectable to the anchor member so that when the cable is anchored between the top member of the wall frame and the cap member by way of the first and second cable vices, the cap member can be connected to the anchor member to thereby tension the cable between the top member of the wall frame and the foundation. A spring can be embodied within the assembly for providing a visual indication of the amount of tension applied to the cable upon connection of the cap member to the anchor member. | 03-05-2009 |
