20110162418 | CONTAINER INTERNAL LOCK MECHANISM - Disclosed are internal lock mechanisms for doors of intermodal containers. The lock mechanisms include a lock member that moves between a locked position engaging a door to lock the door in the closed position and an unlocked position disengaged from the door to permit the door to move from the closed position to the open position. At least a portion of the lock mechanism is provided within or adjacent to the sill. In one instance, the lock member is biased toward the locked position, and a contact portion on a bottom of the container is contacted to unlock it. The lock mechanism may be accessed via connection openings in a corner fitting, for example. In another instance, hooks and hook receiving members are provided within an interior of the container, and rotated along a rotatable shaft between the two positions. | 07-07-2011 |

20100042699 | Autonomous Routing of Network Messages - Messages from a network are processed so that each received message is received in one of a plurality of message formats, the content of each message is determined, and a network destination to which the message will be directed is selected, based on the determined message content. The message can be transformed to encompass a variety of format changes. Once content of the message is determined, if image data is detected in the message, then image analysis on the image data can be performed to detect message content that is used in selecting a destination. It can be determined if the message has been received for greater than a predetermined time limit without being directed to a selected destination and, if so, a notification action can be performed if the predetermined time limit has been exceeded. | 02-18-2010 |

20150232189 | Pressure Release Latch - A blowout latch includes a rotatable bolt that secures a first panel that is adjacent to a second panel to which the latch is affixed. The bolt is restrained by a toggle linkage that operates at one end of the bolt against a pressure-actuated spring. The linkage will release the bolt when an excessive opening force against the bolt exceeds a selected restraining force of the spring. When that condition occurs, the linkage will have deflected the spring and moved to a position where the end of the linkage bearing against spring loses it mechanical leverage with respect to the bolt. Thereafter, the bolt is free to continue rotation to a fully open position. The latch also includes a manual trigger release that disables the restraining linkage and permits free rotation of the bolt to the fully open position when this trigger is actuated. | 08-20-2015 |
20150259957 | Toggle Link Latch - A latch with a unique nesting toggle linkage that extends and retracts a hook via movement of an actuation handle. The linkage links have U-shaped lateral cross sections with a central channel into which the respective links nest when the latch is closed to minimize the overall volume of the latch. The links fold toward each other while closing to reduce the latch's overall length when fully closed. The components of the latch are arranged so that the center of gravity of the latch is positioned in front of a mounting pin; therefore, in applications where the latch swings in the vertical plane, the hook will necessarily hang downwardly away from the keeper when the latch is open. Optionally, a keeper detector prevents the actuation handle from closing if the keeper has not been first captured in the mouth of the hook. | 09-17-2015 |

20120323733 | ONLINE ACCOUNT AUTHENTICATION SERVICE - A payment authentication service authenticates the identity of a payer during online transactions. The authentication service allows a card issuer to verify a cardholder's identity using a variety of authentication methods, such as the use of passwords. Also, the only system participant requiring a certificate is the issuing financial institution. Authenticating the identity of a cardholder during an online transaction involves querying an access control server to determine if a cardholder is enrolled in the payment authentication service, requesting a password from the cardholder, verifying the password, and notifying a merchant whether the cardholder's authenticity has been verified. A chip card and the authentication service independently generate cryptograms to match in order for the service to verify that the correct chip card is being used by the cardholder. | 12-20-2012 |

20130252440 | PRETREATMENT AND IMPROVED DIELECTRIC COVERAGE - Methods of conformally depositing silicon oxide layers on patterned substrates are described. The patterned substrates are plasma treated such that subsequently deposited silicon oxide layers may deposit uniformly on walls of deep closed trenches. The technique is particularly useful for through-substrate vias (TSVs) which require especially deep trenches. The trenches may be closed at the bottom and deep to enable through-substrate vias (TSVs) by later removing a portion of the backside substrate (near to the closed end of the trench). The conformal silicon oxide layer thickness on the sidewalls near the bottom of a trench is greater than or about 70% of the conformal silicon oxide layer thickness near the top of the trench in embodiments of the invention. The improved uniformity of the silicon oxide layer enables a subsequently deposited conducting plug to be thicker and offer less electrical resistance. | 09-26-2013 |

20140146234 | SIGNAL DIGITIZING SYSTEM AND METHOD BASED ON AMPLITUDE-TO-TIME OPTICAL MAPPING - A signal digitizing system and method based on analog-to-time optical mapping, optically maps amplitude information of an analog signal of interest first into wavelength information using an amplitude tunable filter (ATF) to impress spectral changes induced by the amplitude of the analog signal onto a carrier signal, i.e. a train of optical pulses, and next from wavelength information to temporal information using a dispersive element so that temporal information representing the amplitude information is encoded in the time domain in the carrier signal. Optical-to-electrical conversion of the optical pulses into voltage waveforms and subsequently digitizing the voltage waveforms into a digital image enables the temporal information to be resolved and quantized in the time domain. The digital image may them be digital signal processed to digitally reconstruct the analog signal based on the temporal information with high fidelity. | 05-29-2014 |

20080311674 | METHODS AND COMPOSITIONS FOR ANALYZING PROTEINS - Methods, compositions and kits are disclosed for determining one or more target polypeptides in a sample where the target polypeptides have undergone a post-translational modification. A mixture comprising the sample and a first reagent comprising a cleavage-inducing moiety and a first binding agent for a binding site on a target polypeptide is subjected to conditions under which binding of respective binding moieties occurs. The binding site is the result of post-translational modification activity involving the target polypeptide. The method may be employed to determine the target polypeptide itself. In another embodiment the presence and/or amount of the target polypeptide is related to the presence and/or amount and/or activity of an agent such as an enzyme involved in the post-translational modification of the target polypeptide. The interaction between the first binding agent and the binding site brings the cleavage-inducing moiety into close proximity to a cleavable moiety, which is associated with the polypeptide and is susceptible to cleavage only when in proximity to the cleavage-inducing moiety. In this way, an electrophoretic tag for each of the polypeptides may be released. Released electrophoretic tags are separated and the presence and/or amount of the target polypeptides are determined based on the corresponding electrophoretic tags. | 12-18-2008 |
