20130013470 | METHODS FOR IDENTIFYING AND RECOVERING NON-REVENUE GENERATING NETWORK CIRCUITS ESTABLISHED OUTSIDE OF THE UNITED STATES - A method includes issuing a retrieval instruction, such as a database query, to retrieve from a database system a datum associated with a network circuit established outside of the United States. Upon receiving the datum from the database system, it is determined, based on the datum retrieved, whether the network circuit is incurring a charge. It is further determined, based on the datum retrieved, an amount of revenue generated by the network circuit. When the amount of revenue generated by the network circuit is below a predetermined threshold, a termination instruction to terminate a service associated with the network circuit is issued. | 01-10-2013 |

20080198563 | SYSTEM FOR INCREASING ISOLATION BOUNDARY WITHSTAND VOLTAGE - Insulating ribs are formed into one or more portions of a housing that encloses circuitry of an electrical device. Components mounted on a board are separated according to whether they are related to a primary side of a power transformer or a secondary side. Primary related components are typically mounted on the primary side of an isolation slot formed into a circuit board and components related to the secondary are mounted on the other side. The insulating ribs are strategically placed to protrude through the slots when circuit board is mounted to the housing portion. Thus, when the housing portion is joined to another housing portion, which also may include insulating ribs strategically placed, the ribs increase the breakdown voltage of the boundary. | 08-21-2008 |

20120187267 | ADJUSTABLE MOUNTING BRACKET FOR A PHOTOVOLTAIC PANEL FRAME SYSTEM - A bracket assembly for use with a photovoltaic panel frame system. The bracket assembly has an L-shaped member and a base member. A foot portion of the L-shaped member has a lower surface with an arcuate configuration and a plurality of teeth. The base member has an upper surface with an arcuate configuration similar or identical to that of the lower surface of the L-shaped member. The base member further includes a slot for enabling a shaft portion of a threaded fastening member to extend through, while the L-shaped member includes a hole for allowing the shaft portion of the threaded fastening member to pass there through. The teeth allow the L-shaped member and the base member to be quickly secured together so as to provide a desired degree of inclination of the L-shaped member relative to the base member. The slot enables a degree of adjustability between the L-shaped member and the base member so that the bracket assembly can be configured to provide various degrees of inclination to a PV panel being secured by the bracket assembly. | 07-26-2012 |

20090286444 | Latent Elastic Composite Formed from a Multi-Layered Film - A nonwoven composite that exhibits latent elastic properties is provided. The composite is formed from a multi-layered, elastic film laminated to a nonwoven web facing. Latent elasticity is imparted to the composite through the use of at least one base layer that contains a thermoplastic elastomer and at least one skin layer that contains a propylene/α-olefin copolymer. During formation, the film is stretched in one or more directions to orient the elastomer chains. Without intending to be limited by theory, the present inventors believe that the oriented state of the chains may be held in place by the relatively stiff semi-crystalline domains of the propylene/α-olefin copolymer. The stretched elastic film may subsequently be relaxed and bonded to a nonwoven web facing to form the composite. The composite may be later activated (e.g., heated at or above the softening point of the copolymer) to soften the crystalline domains and allow the chains to return to their unoriented state. This causes the film to retract, which forms buckles in the nonwoven facing. In this manner, the resulting composite becomes elastic in that it has the ability to stretch and recover due to the “latent” buckle formation in the nonwoven facing. | 11-19-2009 |
20100159778 | CONFORMABLE ATTACHMENT STRUCTURE FOR FORMING A SEAL WITH THE SKIN - The present invention is directed to an article suitable for attachment to the skin of a user, the article including a compressible material and a means for attaching the compressible material to skin, wherein the compressible material has Compressibility under a 1.4 kilopascal load greater than about 14 percent, and further wherein the compressible material has an Initial Shear Modulus in a first direction less than about 200 kilopascals. | 06-24-2010 |

20130282739 | GENERATING A LOG PARSER BY AUTOMATICALLY IDENTIFYING REGULAR EXPRESSIONS MATCHING A SAMPLE LOG - An approach is presented for generating a log parser. Regular expressions are received and stored in a crowd-sourced data repository. An instruction is received to create a log parser based on a sample log. The sample log is received. Matches are identified between strings of characters included in the received sample log and regular expressions included in the stored regular expressions. Each match indicates a stored regular expression is capable of parsing a string included in the sample log. Based on the identified matches, the log parser is generated so as to include the regular expressions that match the strings included in the sample log. | 10-24-2013 |
