20140240821 | ENHANCED, DURABLE SILVER COATING STACKS FOR HIGHLY REFLECTIVE MIRRORS - The disclosure is directed to a highly reflective multiband mirror that is reflective in the VIS-NIR_SWIR-MWIR-LWIR bands, the mirror being a complete thin film stack that consists of a plurality of layers on a selected substrate. In order from substrate to the final layer, the mirror consists of (a) substrate, (b) barrier layer, (c) first interface layer, (d) a reflective layer, (e) a second interface layer, (f) tuning layer(s) and (g) a protective layer. In some embodiments the tuning layer and the protective are combined into a single layer using a single coating material. The multiband mirror is more durable than existing mirrors on light weight metal substrates, for example 6061-Al, designed for similar applications. In each of the five layer types methods and materials are used to process each layer so as to achieve the desired layer characteristics, which aid to enhancing the durability performance of the stack. | 08-28-2014 |

20150285958 | LIGHTWEIGHT REFLECTING OPTICS - A low density substrate material for reflecting optics. The substrate material is a magnesium alloy or composite material that is capable of being finished by diamond turning to form an optically smooth surface with low root-mean-square roughness. The finish quality of the diamond-turned surface is sufficiently good to permit use of the magnesium material as a substrate for a reflecting optic without further processing. The magnesium substrate material contains at least 80 wt % Mg and may also include Al, Si and/or other elements. The density of the magnesium substrate material is much lower than the density of current Al alloy substrate materials. | 10-08-2015 |

20090007146 | METHOD AND SYSTEM TO CORRELATE AND CONSOLIDATE A PLURALITY OF EVENTS - A method to correlate and consolidate a plurality of events may include consolidating each of the plurality of events to form a multi-personality event. Each event may be emitted from a respective one of a plurality of components forming an event producer in response to an incident affecting the event producer. The method may also include providing the multi-personality event to an event consumer. | 01-01-2009 |
20090019310 | COLLECTING AND REPRESENTING KNOWLEDGE - Problem determination knowledge is provided by an extraction tool that extracts tag information recorded in identified problem tracking tools, where the tags relate to problem knowledge. The extracted tag information is examined to produce a catalog of symptom definitions that can be utilized by tools such as problem submission, logging and/or analysis tools. | 01-15-2009 |
20090193403 | DYNAMIC CREATION OF CLIENT-SIDE ENVIRONMENT FOR PROBLEM ANALYSIS - The dynamic creation of a client-side environment for problem analysis includes the delivery and installation of a cohesive file structure to a client-side machine, the cohesive file structure including a data structure containing data files and an analyzer tool. | 07-30-2009 |
20090222436 | PROBLEM ISOLATION THROUGH WEIGHTED SEARCH OF KNOWLEDGE BASES - A computer program product for problem isolation through a weighted search of knowledge bases includes computer useable program code that generates an aggregate relevance index which ranks the search results. The aggregate relevance index is calculated using a measure of relevance of each of said pertinent documents across all keyword searches. A method for problem isolation through the weighted search of knowledge bases comprises searching knowledge bases using extracted keywords to identify pertinent documents contained within said knowledge databases; and generating a global rank associated with each of the pertinent documents, the global rank being calculated using a measure of the relevance of each of the pertinent documents across all keyword searches and a measure of the relevance of each of the keywords to the records as a whole. | 09-03-2009 |
20110271150 | Appliance for Storing, Managing and Analyzing Problem Determination Artifacts - Systems and methods of managing problem determination (PD) data provide for obtaining PD data from a plurality of data sources via an input/output (I/O) interface of a data management device and storing the PD data to a memory of the data management device. In addition, an automated diagnostic analysis of the PD data may be conducted on the data management device. An automated discovery manager may provide the ability to find new sources of PD data and to either reconfigure remote systems to send data to the data management device or to automatically retrieve data from remote systems on a configurable schedule. Dynamically updateable database of symptom information can also be used, wherein the data management device may include a dynamically updateable set of analysis modules with which to conduct analysis on the PD data. | 11-03-2011 |
