20090149837 | Catheter Assembly - The present invention is a catheter assembly with a catheter and a package for a catheter. The package and catheter is provided with a seal restricting passage of fluid between the package and the catheter. The assembly allows the catheter to be used without complete removal from the package. During urination, the assembly prevents urine to flow from the outlet of the catheter and back through the package in a direction towards the user of the catheter. The seal allows the catheter to be dispensed from the package while the sealing is maintained and the assembly thus allows non-contaminated insertion and use of the catheter while the catheter is partly maintained in the package. | 06-11-2009 |
20090318900 | RETENTION ELEMENT FOR TELESCOPIC DEVICE - The present invention relates to a telescopic device comprising at least two sections, wherein an extraction force is needed to extend the device from a short telescope configuration to an extended configuration and securing the sections in extended configuration; a separation force is needed to pull the at least two sections apart; retention means coupling at least one of the two sections to at least one attachment point; and the uncoupling strength of the retention means is larger than the extraction force but smaller than the separation force. This allows the telescopic device to be properly extended into its extended configuration before the retention means uncouples the telescopic device from the at least one attachment point. | 12-24-2009 |
20100204682 | CATHETER DEVICE - A kit for preparing a medical catheter from catheter sections comprises a tubular protective member surrounding a first, proximal one of the catheter sections. The kit further comprises a joint for interconnecting the catheter sections, the joint defining a substantially liquid tight seal at one end of a substantially annular and longitudinally extending cavity provided between the proximal end portion of the first catheter section and an inner wall of the tubular protective member. Following removal of the tubular protective member, one of the catheter sections is exposed and ready for insertion into the urehtra. | 08-12-2010 |
20110137296 | CATHETER ASSEMBLY WITH CATHETER HANDLE AND CONTAINER - The present invention relates to a catheter assembly comprising a catheter handle and a catheter assembly comprising a catheter element and a container for accommodation of the catheter element. In a first compact configuration the catheter element and the catheter handle are separated to reduce the length of the catheter assembly. The catheter element is in the container and the catheter handle is attached on the outside of the container assembly. The catheter handle can be detached and interlocked with the catheter element to constitute in a second configuration a catheter device. | 06-09-2011 |
20110213343 | CATHETER ASSEMBLY - A catheter assembly is provided. The catheter assembly includes a urinary catheter adapted for insertion into a urethra and a catheter package sized to receive the urinary catheter. The urinary catheter is configured to project from the catheter package to accommodate insertion into the urethra. | 09-01-2011 |
