20080305276 | Method of Applying Hot Gas Anticorrosion Layers - A method for applying hot gas anticorrosion layers to high-temperature-resistant alloys, either nickel-based or cobalt-based alloys, in the form of a gradient layer consisting of one or more elements of the platinum group in combination with aluminum. The components are introduced into a directional high-temperature, high-enthalpy, free jet of solid, liquid or gaseous precursors in mixing ratios such that defined concentration gradients can be established in the layer. | 12-11-2008 |

20090051915 | Arrangement for Monitoring Thermal Spray Processes - An arrangement for measuring characteristic properties of a plasma beam in a thermal spray process, including a device for introducing spray materials into the plasma, a one-dimensional or two-dimensional array including first optical waveguides for receiving the light radiation emitted by the plasma, and other optical waveguides for distributing the light radiation emitted by the plasma. A device is provided for splitting the light guided in the first optical waveguides into the other optical wave guides, one optical waveguide being connected to the opening diaphragm of a particle flow arrangement, and the other optical waveguide being connected to the opening diaphragm of a spectrometer. A device is also provided for determining the current state of the spray process. | 02-26-2009 |
20100288399 | Device and method for remelting metallic surfaces - A method for remelting metallic surfaces of components using the effect of a stable high pressure plasma jet, includes melting the surface in localized areas, the surface having a structure refinement after solidification. The plasma jet action is generated by the microwave impact on a carrier gas, the pressure of the high pressure plasma jet being above the atmospheric pressure. In addition, a plasma torch for generating a directed high pressure plasma jet includes a gas supply, a device for generating a plasma, and an outlet nozzle for a plasma jet. The device for generating the plasma includes a magnetron and a resonator in which the supplied pressurized carrier gas is transferred into a plasma under the effect of microwaves, causing the plasma to exit through the outlet nozzle at a pressure above 0.1 MPa. | 11-18-2010 |

20150329018 | VEHICLE SEATING SYSTEM - A system and method for controlling movement of a seat in a vehicle includes a lower seat assembly and an upper seat assembly adjustable relative to the lower seat assembly. An actuator assembly pivotally attached between the lower seat assembly and upper seat assembly selectively adjusts the upper seat assembly relative to the lower seat assembly between at least one upright position and at least one folded position. A control unit selectively actuates a motor and the actuator assembly to control movement of the upper seat assembly relative to the lower seat assembly. The control unit adjusts the position of the actuator assembly to releasably secure the motor in response to the position value detected by a sensor assembly to place the upper seat assembly in position relative to the lower seat assembly. | 11-19-2015 |

20090249278 | METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR IMPLEMENTING A COMPLETE SAP SYSTEM LANDSCAPE ON IBM SYSTEM i - A method of implementing a complete SAP system landscape on IBM System i is provided. This method involves preselecting at least one value-added reseller (VAR) for participation in implementing the complete SAP system landscape on IBM System i. The VAR then selects values for flexible parameters according to needs of a customer. The flexible parameters include languages for i5/OS and SAP, an amount of SAP ERC Central Component (ECC) systems ranging from one to three, an inclusion of a SAP Solution Manager, a client landscape, a configuration of SAP systems, and a level of software stack. The level of software stack includes a layer of the SAP systems, a layer implementing country-specific configuration, a layer implementing industry-specific configuration, and a layer of VAR added value. Media is created and implemented with the specified content at a factory using standard SAP procedures. A full backup of the SAP systems is then created using standard i5/OS operating system imaging. The media is restored by the VAR using the standard i5/OS operating system imaging at multiple customer sites. The VAR only need be an i5/OS system administrator having no knowledge about SAP on IBM System i to perform the operation. The VAR communicates feedback to the factory for improving the specified content. | 10-01-2009 |

20090277193 | Integrated dehumidification system - A dynamic system controls indoor relative humidity and temperature to achieve specified conditions by applying multiple stages of dehumidification. In addition to a stage that increases dehumidification by reducing the speed of the indoor blower, the system uses a reheat coil and multiple valves that allow the reheat coil to function as either a subcooling coil or a partial condenser. Thus the system can maintain specified indoor temperature and humidity conditions even at times when no heating or cooling is needed. The system may have an outdoor condensing unit including a compressor and a condenser operably connected via refrigerant lines to an indoor unit to form a “split system” refrigerant loop. | 11-12-2009 |
