20160032146 | ORGANIC/INORGANIC TRANSPARENT HYBRID FILMS AND A PROCESS FOR PRODUCING THE SAME - An organosililane and a metal alkoxide mixed together at a given molar ratio are subjected to co-hydrolysis and polycondensation in a solution containing an organic solvent, water and a catalyst to obtain a precursor solution with a controlled inter-organosilane distance. The precursor solution is coated onto a solid surface, and then allowed to stand at room temperature under atmospheric pressure for a given time to obtain an organic/inorganic transparent hybrid film. A difference (hysteresis) between the advancing and receding contact angles of the hybrid film relative to a liquid having a surface tension of 18 to 73 dynes/cm has a smaller value than that of a surface treated by the organosilane alone. The hybrid film is improved in terms of adhesion, transparency, and the mobility of functional groups derived from the organosilane on the film surface. A solid surface can be covered by the organic/inorganic transparent hybrid film. | 02-04-2016 |

20150342012 | ANTISTATIC COVER - An antistatic cover which, when the cover covers an insulating resin-made tube, can enhance the certainty of preventing the tube from being electrically charged, and can facilitate attachment to and detachment from the tube. The tubular cover body, is divided in a circumferential direction to form first and second divided portions. The cover body is elastically deformed such that the first and second divided portions separate from each other, and allow the tube to pass through between the first and second divided portions. The cover body has a plurality of first cutaway portions, which pass through at least one of the first and second divided portions in a radial direction of the cover body, and is configured such that, when the cover body is fitted onto the tube, a part of the tube can be exposed through the plurality of first cutaway portions. | 11-26-2015 |

20150311852 | Motor Drive Voltage Control Device and Method for Controlling Motor Drive Voltage - To suppress a decline in the control accuracy of an applied voltage associated with an increase in quantum noise, and to increase the control accuracy of a motor speed. When generating a driving voltage signal supplied to a motor from a driving command signal, a motor-driving voltage control device reduces the gradation level and performs noise-shaping modulation before performing PWM modulation. Reducing the gradation level allows the degree of gradation of the driving voltage signal to be within the resolution range of the PWM modulation, and thus PWM modulation can be performed even when the driving voltage signal has a high frequency. Noise-shaping modulation reduces the level of quantum noise near the low frequency range by causing the quantum noise due to digitization, included in the driving voltage signal, to be biased toward the high frequency range side. Of modulation signals with the reduced-gradation level, the components near the high frequency band are cut, while the components near the low frequency range are used to suppress quantum noise and control the driving voltage applied to the motor with a high accuracy. | 10-29-2015 |
20150316428 | Rotational Drive Device - The structure for detecting tooth-skipping of the speed reducer of the rotary driver is reduced in weight and size. In the rotary driver the occurrence of tooth-skipping is detected based on the difference in outputs from the encoders located at the input side (the side of the motor) and at the output side (the side of the load), which is opposite the input side in relation to the speed reducer. The rotary driver comprises a motor, a speed reducer located between the motor and a load to reduce the rotary speed of a rotary shaft at the side of the motor, to thereby transmit the reduced rotary speed to a rotary shaft at the side of the load, a first encoder for detecting a rotation of the rotary shaft at the side of the motor, a second encoder for detecting a rotation of the rotary shaft at the side of the load, a section for detecting any difference between a first detected value that is obtained by dividing an output of the first encoder by a rate for reducing the speed by the speed reducer and a second detected value that is obtained from an output of the second encoder, and a section for detecting tooth-skipping that detects tooth-skipping of the speed reducer based on the difference. | 11-05-2015 |
20150331006 | Velocity Measurement Device and Velocity Measurement Method - The present invention aims to easily suppress noise components of aliases when measuring a velocity based on an output from an encoder. The invention comprises a step for converting in which two-phase signals indicating the movement of a spinning body, etc., are converted to a ternary pulse train signal having a positive or a negative or a zero value corresponding to the phases of the two-phase signals, a step for low pass filtering in which a low frequency component of the pulse train signal is obtained by arithmetically processing the pulse train signal and filter coefficients, and a step for output-sampling in which the signal obtained by the step for low pass filtering is sampled at a predetermined sampling period. In the step for low pass filtering, a convolution (operation for convolution) between the pulse train signal obtained by sampling the pulse train signal at a predetermined period and the filter coefficients is carried out. Sampling the pulse train signal is synchronized with and has the same phase as reading the filter coefficients for the convolution. The sampled signal by the step for output-sampling is output as a velocity signal corresponding to the velocity determined by the two-phase signal. | 11-19-2015 |

20090319910 | AUTOMATIC CONTENT AND AUTHOR EMPHASIS FOR SHARED DATA - Architecture for emphasizing changes in collaborative or shared documents. A user can now quickly see what content was changed (hence, unread content) since the last time the user viewed the document or page. A tool automatically tracks and annotates the new content and author of the content for collaboration users. The architecture provides author highlighting on a page or document, which is turned on automatically when the user goes to the page or document. Widgets are displayed in association with the unread content that indicate which user authored all or portions of new unread content. Synchronization of the content update document content so that other users can readily see what is new and the author. A master file is created that stores the emphasis information and associated author information. The file can be stored at any location that is accessibly by the collaborative clients. | 12-24-2009 |

20140068547 | SHARING APPLICATION CODE ACROSS PLATFORMS - Application functionality is separated into platform neutral components and platform specific components. An application model component defines the core logic of the application and includes interaction models for handling user input that is platform neutral and may be used across platforms. An application host component includes functionality for a specific platform but may be reused across different applications on the same platform (e.g. how to draw on a specific platform). An application user interface component includes functionality (e.g. specific UI for an application) that is platform specific and application specific. Platform neutral Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) are used by the developer to abstract functionality of the application such that the platform neutral code is portable across different platforms. The communication between the platform specific components and platform neutral components uses thread and memory isolation similar to a client-server architecture. | 03-06-2014 |
