In response to a movement less than the predefined distance threshold, or detecting lift off of the user's finger, the object is not moved from the current location so as to prevent jitter from affecting the final position of the object. A log is kept of the touch inputs by the user's finger so as to move the object appropriately when object movement is delayed.
