20090265772 | Secure Key Distribution to Internet Clients - A server may bridge between a wide area network, such as the Internet, and a local area network and may process authentication requests from clients on the wide area network. The server may filter the requests to enable specific types of requests to pass, and may forward the requests to a credential server within the local area network and pass any responses back to the client. The server may be configured with some or all of a set of domain services objects, but such objects may be stored in a read only format. The server may further contain a minimum of or no sensitive data such that, if compromised, an attacker may gain little advantage. The client may request evidence of authentication available to devices within the local area network and may use the evidence of authentication to access services made available to the wide area network. | 10-22-2009 |

20100161664 | Method and System of Authenticating the Identity of a User of a Public Computer Terminal - Methods for accessing private and public data via a public terminal are disclosed. With respect to accessing private content, a method for authenticating the identity of a user of the public terminal is disclosed. Unique identifiers are transmitted in a pre-defined area adjacent or nearby the public terminal and are monitored by a receiver. This information is utilized to electronically compile and update in real-time a list of identifiers that have recently been monitored by the receiver, and the list of identifiers is used to electronically create and update in real-time a temporary database including identity verification data corresponding only for identifiers in the list of identifiers. Identity verification data input into the public terminal by the user is compared with the set of identity verification data contained in the temporary database to determine whether or not there is a match of identity verification data. Access to private content via the public terminal is granted to the user if a match is found during the comparison. A method for displaying public data and a system by which these methods can be implemented are also disclosed. | 06-24-2010 |

20160072226 | CONNECTOR WITH CONNECTOR POSITION ASSURANCE DEVICE - A connector assembly including a first connector having a primary locking lever that is configured to mate with a second connector having a primary striker. The primary locking lever includes a beam extending along a mating axis and a primary latch configured to engage the primary striker. The connector assembly includes a connector position assurance (CPA) device slideably mounted to the first connector. The primary latch blocks movement of the CPA device from an initial position to a final position until the first connector and the second connector are fully mated. The CPA device defines a lateral flange that inhibits movement of a secondary latch of the CPA device under the primary latch that would allow the CPA device to move from the initial position prior to the full mating of the first connector and the second connector. | 03-10-2016 |
