20100235305 | SYSTEM AND METHOD OF ON-DEMAND DOCUMENT PROCESSING - A document processing method includes receiving, at a server with a network interface, electronic documents from a user. The server includes a software application adapted to recognize a class of electronic documents to which the electronic documents belong. The method also includes processing the electronic documents received from the user to extract data therefrom based on a recognition that the electronic documents belong to the class of electronic documents. The extracted data corresponds to a service being provided to the user. The method also includes automatically mapping the extracted data from the processed electronic documents to a data repository on the server. The data repository is accessible by the user through the network interface. The method also includes electronically generating output data based on the mapped data from the data repository to the user. The output data corresponds to the service being provided to the user. | 09-16-2010 |

20110043847 | SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR ALLOCATING CONTENT OF ELECTRONIC DOCUMENTS - A computer implemented document-processing system comprises at least one processing element including a receiving component, a target-region identifying component a database and a calculating component. The receiving component electronically receives a print-job specification corresponding to at least one printable document. The receiving component electronically stores the print-job specification. The target-region identifying component operatively identifies at least one target region of a printable document of the at least one printable document. The database stores a plurality of data sources and is in operative communication with the target-region identifying component. Each data source is configured to provide printable data for printing within a target region of the at least one target region received by the target-region identifying component. The calculating component electronically calculates a plurality of prices. Each price of the plurality of prices corresponds to printing the printable data within the target region of the at least one target region as received from a respective data source of the plurality of data sources. Each of the plurality of prices is operatively associated with a respective data source. | 02-24-2011 |

20110125546 | SYSTEM, METHOD AND COMPUTER-USABLE MEDIUM FOR GENERATING FINANCIAL DATA BASED ON LONG TERM DEMAND DATA - A method and system for generating a multi-year variable priced outsourcing contract based on a long term demand forecast utilizing a diffusion model. Historical data comprising print requirements associated with a business process can be determined. The Bass diffusion model can be developed from such historical data in order to forecast a future print demand by estimating a number of customers migrated to an electronic presentment process. A capacity planning approach can be invoked to determine a capacity requirement that matches a projected estimate of the future print demand based on the diffusion model when the outsourcing contract is being developed. An outsourced operation cost can then be developed utilizing the capacity requirement and incorporated into the outsourcing contract. Such an approach can lead to a more optimal contract and therefore improve competitiveness of a vendor associated with such contract. | 05-26-2011 |
