20130012759 | Non-Contact Electronic Tool for Qi Emission and Amplification - This invention pertains to a non-contact Qi emission and amplification electronic device. Qi is a Chinese word for the life energy that circulates in human beings. The device is a passive electronic device, that is, it is not powered by any battery or electrical supply. It does not come into contact with the user. The user places the device a few feet away. As such the device is totally safe in terms of dangerous electrical shocks or electromagnetic emissions. The device has a switch to turn it on or off. The switch connects together electronic components, including a piezo-crystal, inside the device. Ambient fluctuations in the voltage of the piezo-crystal may produce an influence field that is broadcasted to an approximately six foot radius surrounding the device. The influence field feels like a cool breeze and affects the user in similar ways to the emitted Qi from Qi Gong practitioners. | 01-10-2013 |
20130012762 | Non-Contact Electronic Tool for Dream Enhancement - This invention pertains to a non-contact electronic device for the enhancement of dreaming. By enhancement it is meant increasing the frequency, the length, the lucidity, and the color of dreaming. For example, one person who dreams in grey shades now dreams in color when using the device. The device will also allow better recall of the dreams. Dream enhancement is generally a pleasant process and promotes a pleasant feeling in the morning after use. The device is a passive electronic device, that is, it is not actively powered. The user places the device a few feet away during sleep. The device uses a piezo-crystal and an iron core. It is believed that ambient fluctuations in the piezo-crystal's voltage produce an influence field that is broadcasted through the iron core to the user a few feet away. | 01-10-2013 |

20120204537 | Adaptive diesel particulate filter regeneration control and method - An after-treatment device that includes a diesel particulate filter (DPF) requiring periodic regeneration includes a sensor providing a signal indicative of a soot accumulation and at least one device providing an operating parameter indicative of a work mode of the machine. A controller determines a soot loading of the DPF based least partially on the soot signal, and a readiness level based on the operating parameter. A soot level trigger is determined based on a time period since a regeneration was completed and the readiness level, and a debounce time period is determined based on the soot loading and the readiness level. The controller is configured to initiate a regeneration event of the DPF when the debounce time period has expired while the soot loading exceeds the soot level trigger. | 08-16-2012 |

20140238233 | FLAME DETECTION SYSTEM FOR PARTICULATE FILTER REGENERATION - A flame detection system is disclosed. The system may have a flame chamber and a filter, wherein the filter includes filter media configured to collect matter from an engine exhaust. Additionally, the filter may be disposed downstream of the flame chamber. An ignition device may be disposed in the flame chamber and may be configured to ignite a flame in the flame chamber to regenerate the filter. A sensor may be disposed proximate the ignition device, and may be configured to sense a change in electrical conductivity that is indicative of a presence of the flame in the flame chamber. | 08-28-2014 |

20080271450 | Exhaust gas recirculation system - A power system including an exhaust producing engine, an exhaust system and an exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) system is provided. The EGR system may include an EGR flowpath and an air intake system. The EGR system may also include an EGR valve configured to regulate the flow of exhaust gases through the EGR flowpath. The power system may also include a monitoring system configured to monitor operating parameters of at least two components of the EGR system. The power system may also include a controller configured to determine, based on the monitored operating parameters, a maximum flowrate value for each of the components. Each of the maximum flowrate values may represent the maximum EGR flowrate for that component. The controller may be configured to control the EGR valve, based on the maximum flowrate values, to result in an EGR flowrate no greater than the lowest of the maximum flowrate values. | 11-06-2008 |

20150260069 | Fluid Delivery System and Method - A fluid delivery system includes a reservoir, a pump, an injector, and a pressure regulator. The reservoir encloses a fluid and includes a reservoir body forming a reservoir volume that encloses the fluid. The reservoir includes a draw conduit and a return conduit. The pump has an inlet connected to the draw conduit and provides fluid at the operating pressure and at a desired flow to a pressure line that is fluidly connected to an outlet of the pump. The injector selectively opens to allow an injected fluid flow to pass therethrough. The return orifice fluidly connects the pressure line with the return conduit, and the pressure regulator provides a regulated fluid flow to the fluid reservoir. During operation, the desired fluid flow is equal to a sum of the injected fluid flow, the return fluid flow and the regulated fluid flow. | 09-17-2015 |
