20090121204 | HAND WINCH - Hand winch comprising a wind roll for receiving a flexible elongated member, an operation shaft engaged with the wind roll for transmitting forces therebetween, a friction brake including a gear member being in engagement with the wind roll and having a thrust position in which the gear member acts on a stationary member for generating braking forces directed oppositely to a sense of winding off the elongated member, characterized in that said gear member is movably mounted on the operation shaft such that, in case of winding off the elongated member, the gear member is displaced from a released position to said thrust position. | 05-14-2009 |
20110062273 | HAND WINCH WITH BRAKE AND FREEWHEEL - A hand winch including a winding roll, a flexible elongated member, a shaft connected to the winding roll, a friction brake including a brake disk and a gear element engaging the winding roll and mounted on the shaft. The gear element has a release position and a brake position in which the gear element enters into frictional contact with the brake disk, generating a braking torque resisting winding off the flexible elongated member. Friction means is provided between the shaft and the gear element for generating a frictional resistance therebetween such that, if a driving force acting on the gear element does not overcome the frictional resistance established by the friction means, the gear element drives the shaft through friction means. However, if the driving force between the shaft and the gear element overcomes the frictional resistance, relative movement between the gear element and the shaft occurs. | 03-17-2011 |
20120181490 | Telescopic Rack-And-Pinion Lifting Device - A lifting device with a telescopic pole that has a lower module and an upper module which is mounted in vertical sliding relation with respect to the lower module and which is movable along the pole by a crank handle through a rack-and-pinion drive mechanism. A non-return locking device is automatically implemented by friction coupling mechanism with a drive pinion of the drive mechanism driven by rotating the crank handle for more than one complete turn. | 07-19-2012 |
20120181494 | TELESCOPIC LIFTING DEVICE WITH SAFETY STRAP - A lifting device with a telescopic pole having at least three successive modules mounted so that the modules can slide vertically with respect to each other. A drive strap transfers movement in order to extend an upper module with respect to an intermediate module when the intermediate module is caused to move with respect to a lower module of the modules. The drive strap is kept taut between two fixation points placed respectively on the lower module and upper modules and pass along a return pulley device mounted on the intermediate module. A safety system is normally maintained in inactive position by tension of the drive strap is automatically released into active locking position to prevent the upper module from continuing to move with respect to the intermediate module if the drive strap breaks. | 07-19-2012 |

20120317964 | Hydrostatic Circuits with Variable Charge and Variable Flushing Systems - A closed hydrostatic circuit with variable charge and variable flushing systems is disclosed. A variable displacement charge pump is configured to supply charge fluid and pilot control fluid to the hydrostatic circuit. An electronically controlled pressure regulating valve is in communication with an output of the charge pump and is linked to a controller. When the hydrostatic control system detects a high hydraulic temperature condition, the electronically controlled pressure regulating valve, that is in communication with an output of the charge pump and that is linked to a controller, increases the charge pump flow. A bidirectional variable displacement hydrostatic motor is connected in parallel to two input/output lines. A flush valve is in communication with the hydrostatic motor and both input/output lines. The flush valve and hydrostatic motor are both in communication with the flush orifice and a flush relief valve. When the pressure regulating valve causes the charge pump to operate at or near a full capacity, fluid exits the flush valve and passes through both the flush orifice and the flush relief valve. In contrast, when the pressure regulating valve causes the charge pump to operate at a lower or near minimum capacity, fluid exits the flush valve and passes through the flush orifice only without passing through the flush relief valve. | 12-20-2012 |
