20090242539 | Heating System - A heating system that provides long lasting and all-encompassing heat to the hands of a skier or snowmobile/motorcycle user. A power source, such as a battery, is secured within a hollow portion of each handgrip. In the wired version, a conduit passes through the wrist strap attached to each ski pole handgrip and connects with each glove, where conductive wires sewn into the glove fabric carry the power to strategically placed heating elements also sewn into the glove fabric, which in turn provides heat to the skier's hands. The wireless version features an interface and various contact points between the gloves and handgrips, and may be applied to both ski poles and handlebars of snowmobiles and motorcycles. | 10-01-2009 |
20120175393 | Load-bearing system - A load-bearing belt that employs first forward projecting lever and second forward projecting lever and first rear lever and second rear lever to ultimately cause a backpack or baby pack to lift upward. This upward lift provides the user some respite from the weight and pressure of a backpack or baby pack. The user manually moves the first forward projecting lever and second forward projecting lever in a downward motion, which in turn raises the first rear lever and second rear lever in an upward motion through the combined assistance of a first fulcrum and second fulcrum. Once the first rear lever and second rear lever lift upward, a backpack or baby pack will be forced upward and ultimately into a more comfortable position as weight burden is alleviated from the back and shoulders. | 07-12-2012 |

20130155675 | Lighting Fixture - A light emitting diode (LED) lighting arrangement for a lighting fixture includes: a lighting strip comprising a plurality of light emitting diodes (LEDs) arranged along a length of the lighting strip; a first multi-faceted side wall reflector extending from a first side of the lighting strip at an angle such that the first multi-faceted side wall reflector extends along an entire length of the lighting strip and away from a bottom portion of a light emitting portion of each of the light emitting diodes (LEDs); and a second multi-faceted side wall reflector extending from a second, opposite side of the lighting strip at an angle such that the second multi-faceted side wall reflector extends along an entire length of the lighting strip away from the bottom portion of the light emitting portion of each of the light emitting diodes (LEDs). The first and second multi-faceted side wall reflectors cause light produced by the plurality of light emitting diodes (LEDs) to be amplified and formed into a uniform beam. | 06-20-2013 |

20110140850 | REAL TIME TRACKING AND MONITORING OF GAS CYLINDERS - A gas cylinder transport cap is described. The cap has a bottom opening adapted for reversible attachment to a gas cylinder, where the attached cap surrounds a cylinder valve coupled to the gas cylinder. The cap also has a side surface which at least in part defines the perimeter of the bottom opening, where the side surface include a plurality of side openings; and a top surface formed on an opposite side of the cap from the bottom surface, where the top surface includes a top opening. The side openings and top opening improve transmissions of radio-frequency signals from a RFID device positioned inside the cylinder cap when the cap is attached to the gas cylinder. A method of tracking a gas cylinder transported between a first and second location is also described. The method may include the steps of coupling the gas cylinder to a RFID device, loading the gas cylinder on a transportation vehicle, and reading a gas cylinder identification signal transmitted by the RFID device with an RFID signal reader that translates the signal into gas cylinder identification data. The gas cylinder identification data may be associated with location data provided by a GPS device located in the transportation vehicle. The identification and location data may be communicated to gas cylinder tracking system that is remote from the transportation vehicle. | 06-16-2011 |
