20090215099 | METHOD OF IDENTIFYING CANCER BIOMARKERS AND CANCER PROGRESSION - An efficient method for identifying important cancer biomarkers and identifying progression of bladder cancer using pro-u-PA as a clinical tool is provided. Searching for biomarkers critical for bladder carcinoma diagnosis and prognosis, secreted proteomes of highly malignant U1 and pre-malignant U4 cell lines are first analyzed. Proteins in the cultured media of the U1 and U4 cell-lines were systematically examined by SDS-PAGE combined with MALDI-TOF mass spectrometry. Expression of pro-u-plasminogen activator (pro-u-PA) was confirmed by Western blot analysis and further evaluated. A statistically significant relationship between the low level and absence of pro-u-PA in urine with high stages and grades of the tumor samples was established. Constitutive expression of Ras dominant negative protein led to increased expression of pro-u-PA in cultured media, indicating the loss of pro-u-PA is associated with oncogenic transformation. The loss of pro-u-PA in urine has been identified as a marker of more advanced bladder carcinoma. | 08-27-2009 |

20090079604 | Dual Gate Oxide Analog Circuit Architecture With Dual Voltage Supplies and Associated Method - An analog circuit architecture is fabricated with dual gate oxides and dual voltage supplies. In the analog circuit architecture, different kinds of devices/transistors with different gate oxide thicknesses are biased by different voltages, such that advantages of each device technology are mixed to enhance total performance of the analog circuit. For example, thin oxide 0.18 um transistors are biased at 1.8V for higher speed and lower power consumption, whereas thick oxide 0.35 um transistors are biased at 3.3V for a wider signal swing range. | 03-26-2009 |

20100180636 | Method for bonding two plates - Three bonding materials are provided on a first plate. The first bonding material is located between the second and third bonding materials. The first bonding material is thicker than the other bonding materials. A second plate is provided on the first bonding material. All of the plates and the bonding materials are heated to the softening point of the first bonding material. A load is exerted on the first bonding material to reduce the thickness of the first bonding material to that of the second and third bonding materials and transfer the load to the second and third bonding materials from the first bonding material. The temperature is raised to and kept at the crystallization point of the first bonding material. The temperature is raised to the wetting point of the second and third bonding materials. | 07-22-2010 |
20100180670 | Device for testing the performance of a sealant for SOFC stacks - An apparatus is disclosed for testing the performance of a sealant for solid oxide fuel cell packs. The apparatus includes an oven including a base, a platform provided on the base and a frame connected to the platform. An elevator is used to raise and lower the oven. A pressuring and testing chamber is provided on the platform. The pressuring and testing chamber includes a first body and a second body connected to the first body. A carrier is provided between the first and second bodies. The carrier includes a first plate and a second plate so that the sealant can be provided between the first and second plates. A pusher includes an end connected to the frame and another end for pushing the second plate. A pusher-driving unit is connected to the frame for raising and lowering the pusher. | 07-22-2010 |
20100184580 | Glass-ceramic sealant for planar solid oxide fuel cells - Glass-ceramic sealant is disclosed for planar solid oxide fuel cells. The glass-ceramic sealant includes 0 to 40 mol % of silicon oxide, 0 to 15 mol % boron oxide, 0 to 10 mol % of aluminum oxide, 0 to 40 mol % of barium oxide, 0 to 15 mol % of calcium oxide, 0 to 15 mol % of lanthanum oxide and 0 to 5 mol % of zirconium dioxide. At 0° C. to 600° C., the thermal expansion coefficient of the sealant is 8 to 10 ppm/° C. | 07-22-2010 |

20120248672 | POINT-WELDING CLAMP STRUCTURE - A point-welding clamp structure for side by side tightly clamping and locating different plate-shaped metal pieces in their true relative positions so as to facilitate the point-welding operation. The point-welding clamp structure includes a body section and a base section for clamping the different metal pieces. A second adjustment section is disposed on the body section and a third adjustment section is disposed on the base section. By means of operating the second and third adjustment sections, the metal pieces with different thickness can be securely clamped and located by the point-welding clamp structure. | 10-04-2012 |
20120248673 | POINT-WELDING CLAMP - A point-welding clamp for tightly clamping and locating different plate-shaped metal pieces to be welded together. The point-welding clamp includes a clamp section for clamping the plate-shaped metal pieces to be welded together, a drive section for controlling the clamping force applied to the plate-shaped metal pieces by the clamp section, and an abutment section including two abutment bodies. The abutment bodies are pivotally connected with the clamp section in abutment with the plate-shaped metal pieces. Each abutment body has an engagement face. The engagement faces of the abutment bodies serve to attach to the surfaces of the plate-shaped metal pieces to keep the force applied to the plate-shaped metal pieces by the clamp section normal to the surfaces of the plate-shaped metal pieces. Accordingly, it is ensured that the plate-shaped metal pieces are securely clamped by means of the point-welding clamp. | 10-04-2012 |

20080219267 | METHOD FOR TRANSMITTING NETWORK PACKETS - A method for transmitting network packets is provided. Reordered network packets received by a receiving end are put into a buffer queue. When a waiting time expires or when a network packet with a sequence number equal to the current transmission sequence number is received, the receiving end picks and transmits appropriate network packets from the buffer queue. Therefore, reordered network packets are sorted and then sent out sequentially, thereby avoiding waste of network bandwidth caused by retransmitting network packets, and improving the transmitting efficiency of the network. | 09-11-2008 |
20090296721 | METHOD FOR MANAGING IP TUNNELS - A method for managing Internet Protocol (IP) tunnels is provided. The method is executed by a local host. There is at least one IP tunnel planned between the local host and a remote host. The method comprises the following steps. If the local addresses of the tunnels include dynamic IP addresses, acquire the dynamic IP addresses. All tunnels with known remote addresses are built. If there are known remote addresses and the local addresses include dynamic IP addresses, send a notification to the remote host, wherein the notification includes all local dynamic IP addresses. If any local address changes, all tunnels with changed local addresses and known remote addresses are rebuilt. A message is received from the remote host and classified. If the message is a notification, the tunnels are updated according to the remote addresses included in the message, and an acknowledgement is sent back to the remote host. | 12-03-2009 |
