The determining unit executes the first determination and the second determination in alternation with each other. The processing unit is configured to be capable of reading out the image data on a line-by-line basis from each of the first storing unit and the second storing unit to image-process the readout data. The processing unit reads out the image data for the predetermined number of lines from the first storing unit and image-processes the readout data if the first determination result indicates that the number of lines of the image data stored in the first storing unit is greater than or equal to the predetermined number.
