20130030728CRYSTALLINITY EVALUATION METHOD, CRYSTALLINITY EVALUATION DEVICE, AND COMPUTER SOFTWARE THEREOF - A crystallinity evaluation method of evaluating crystallinity of a semiconductor film formed above a substrate includes following steps. First, a peak waveform of a Raman band in a Raman spectrum of the semiconductor film is obtained using Raman spectrometry. The Raman band corresponds to a phonon mode unique to the semiconductor film. The peak waveform is a wavelength range having a peak of the Raman band. Next, a first waveform is generated by fitting the obtained peak waveform by Gauss function. Then, a peak value of the first waveform is extracted. Then, a second waveform is generated by fitting the obtained peak waveform by Lorenz function based on the extracted peak value. Then, a peak value, a FWHM, and/or a wavelength indicating the peak value regarding the generated second waveform are obtained. Then, crystallinity of the semiconductor film is evaluated based on the obtained information.01-31-2013
20130030726CIRCUITRY FOR MEASURING AND COMPENSATING PHASE AND AMPLITUDE DIFFERENCES IN NDT/NDI OPERATION - Disclosed are a method and an NDT/NDI inspection device deploying digital circuitry to conduct detection and compensation of phase and amplitude shift in responding signals. A digital waveform generator, such as a direct digital synthesizer (DDS) is used to generate a digital sine-wave of a specific frequency and amplitude, mimicking the pulser frequency and amplitude. The sine-wave is converted to analog signal through a DAC and transmitted to the transducer. The received analog sine-wave from the transducer is converted back to a digital signal through an ADC. The transmitted and received digital signals are then compared for phase and amplitude differences. A null circuit involving another waveform generating component is employed to compensate the detected phase and amplitude differences. As a result the phase and amplitude differences are effectively eliminated before being further processed and analyzed for defects information.01-31-2013

20100161254DETECTING OBJECTS IN SHIPPING CONTAINERS BY VIBRATION SPECTRAL ANALYSIS - Objects in a cargo shipping container are detected by measuring vibration resonant frequency peaks of the container. 20130211747Method of Interrogating a Sensor of Surface Acoustic Wave Type - A method of interrogating sensors of SAW type, which allows notably the gathering of physical measurements of parameters carried out by SAW sensors, the method for gathering the measurement of an SAW sensor comprising a first step of generating and emitting an electromagnetic signal corresponding to the dilated time-reversal of a dilation coefficient k, of an impulse response signature which is characteristic of the SAW sensor, a second step of gathering a signal received as echo originating from the SAW sensor, a third step of determining a maximum of cross-correlation of the signal received as echo during the second step, the first step being applied with a set of values of the dilation coefficient k in a determined domain, the measurement of a physical parameter then being determined by the dilation coefficient k for which the power or the amplitude of the signal gathered as echo is a maximum.08-15-2013
