20090203252 | RJ MODULAR CONNECTOR - An RJ modular connector is provided that has wire channels that slope upward and end at openings in the top of the connector through which the stripped wires extend. In use, the outer jacket insulation is removed from an end portion of the cable, leaving lengths of exposed wires. The length of the exposed wire is unimportant. The wires are arranged in an essentially flat configuration and inserted longitudinally into the connector and then directed upward by the upward slope of the channels, so that the distal ends of the respective wires extend through the top of the connector. The protruding wire ends are then compared with a standard to confirm the correct color identification pattern for them and corresponding wire position. After the comparison is made, the protruding wire ends are crimped/secured and sheared off. Conductive contact blades are inserted, and pierce the wires. | 08-13-2009 |
20090239410 | CONNECTION MODULE - A connection module for housing a contact element used to electrically connect wires within the module, the module being formed of first and second parts arranged to interfit so as to define a first set of openings, each being shaped to receive an end section of one of said wires for electric connection to the contact element, which pass into the module from a first end face toward an opposite second end face, the first part having first and second slots in opposed side walls, and the second part having a first protrusion which is received in a first one of the slots to at least partially fill an open end of said first one of said slots to thereby define an aperture to allow a test probe to access the contact element. | 09-24-2009 |
20140113483 | DUAL CONDUCTOR CABLE CONNECTOR - A connector assembly for use with dual conductor cable is disclosed. The connector assembly includes a first connector, a second connector, first and second fixture wires, and first and second connector terminals. The first and second connectors are removably attachable. The first connector includes a first connector base, two prongs extending from the first connector base, and a first connector slot for accepting the first connector terminal. The second connector includes a second connector base, two wings extending from the second connector base, and a second connector slot for accepting the second connector terminal. The wings are sized and configured to accept the two prongs when the first and second connectors are joined. The first and second connector terminals include a spike extending generally away from the base of the connector into which the terminal has been secured. The first connector terminal is secured in the first connector in electrical communication with the first fixture wire, and the second connector terminal is secured in the second connector in electrical communication with second fixture wire. The first and second connectors, when joined by the insertion of the prongs between the wings, define a central portion sized to allow the passage of the dual conductor cable to which the first and second connectors are connected. When the first and second connectors are joined with the dual connector cable located in the central portion, the spikes of the first and second terminals penetrate into the dual conductor cable, whereby the dual conductor cable is placed into electrical communication with the first and second fixture wire. | 04-24-2014 |

20080299817 | Structure of lamp socket in lamp string - The present invention relates to a “structure of lamp socket in lamp string”, particularly for one having contrivance of (elastic plate) and (electric conducting plate) so that the rest (illuminant elements) in the lamp string can maintain illuminating and glittering even falling off of any (illuminant elements). | 12-04-2008 |
20100267273 | LAMP SOCKET - A lamp socket has a housing forming a cavity centered on an axis and having a generally cylindrical side wall and a floor, an internally threaded sleeve coaxially received in the cavity, a central socket contact on the floor at the axis, and an annular disk separate from the housing, surrounding the central contact. The disk is formed on the axis with a central aperture and is spaced at the aperture substantially further from the floor than the central socket contact. Thus only a lamp base with a central lamp contact on an extension stem can fit in the socket and engage through the aperture and past the disk to make contact with the central socket contact. | 10-21-2010 |
20140038451 | CONNECTORS FOR LANDSCAPE LIGHTING SYSTEMS - A connector includes a cable tray configured to receive and retain a cable in a stable position and couple with a top cap configured to create an electrical connection with the cable as the top cap is manipulated in a predetermined manner while coupled with the cable tray. An upper surface of the cable tray is configured to receive the cable. The cable tray also includes a finger extending beyond the first end for some distance longitudinally. The finger includes a protrusion that protrudes to some extent in a transverse direction so that a cable-accommodating gap is defined between the protrusion and the first end. The protrusion is configured to bear against the cable and retain the cable in the stable position when the cable is inserted between the protrusion and the first end (before, during and/or after an electrical connection is established). | 02-06-2014 |
