20100215793 | DEVICE FOR IMPLEMENTING A SOCKET ON AN END OF CROSSCUT PLASTIC PIPES - A device is described for implementing a socket on an end of crosscut plastic pipes ( | 08-26-2010 |
20110236520 | BELLING MACHINE FOR PIPES MADE OF THERMOPLASTIC MATERIAL, FORMING END SOCKETS EQUIPPED WITH AN INTEGRATED SEAL - A belling machine ( | 09-29-2011 |
20140134285 | Apparatus and method of molding an endotracheal tube for tracheal intubation - A mold (form) in which an endotracheal tube, having a stylette therein, is received so as to form the overall configuration of the endotracheal tube is disclosed. The mold has a recess in the surface thereof to receive the endotracheal tube with a stylette therein. The recess has a curve therein adjacent one end of the mold to receive the distal end of the endotracheal tube. The recess in the opposite end of the mold has a bend therein to receive the proximal end of the endotracheal tube. The recess in the intermediate portion of the mold is substantially straight and interconnects the curved end and the oppositely disposed bent end of the recess. The stylette is fabricated from a thin metallic malleable rod which is bendable, and thus configurable, to retain the overall configuration of the endotracheal tube after being formed and removed from the mold. The stylette is withdrawn from the endotracheal tube after the distal end thereof has been inserted through the vocal cords and just into the trachea of the patient being intubated. Due to the configuration of the endotracheal tube, withdrawal of the stylette causes the distal end of the tube to advance further into the trachea of the patient being intubated. | 05-15-2014 |
20150017276 | PORTABLE TUBE FLARING SYSTEM FOR FLEXIBLE TUBING - An embodiment of a portable tube flaring system for flaring a flexible plastic tube end includes a hand-held wand with a heating element for heating a tube heater receptacle, which provides direct contact heating of the tube end about the entire outer periphery of the tube end. A mandrel device is configured for manual insertion into the heated tube end by the user after the tube end is removed from the wand and heater receptacle. A power/control unit is connected to the wand by a wiring bundle to provide electrical power to the heating element, and to optionally provide a visual and/or audio signal to the user for indicating when the tube end should be removed from the wand receptacle, and thereafter, when the mandrel may be removed from the tube end after sufficient cooling or curing time. The system may be carried by a person. | 01-15-2015 |
20150367556 | PEX Expanding Tool - A tool operable to expand an end of a pipe is disclosed. The tool has a longitudinal axis and a vertical axis. The tool includes a working end disposed at a distal end along the longitudinal axis. This working end includes a plurality of jaws movable between a closed position and an expanded position and rotatable about the longitudinal axis of the tool. Further, the tool includes a main body connected to the working end. This main body includes a handle disposed at a proximal end along the vertical axis of the tool, wherein the handle is configured to be gripped in an orientation that is substantially parallel to the longitudinal axis of the tool. Further, the tool includes a trigger disposed on the handle, and the trigger is configured to be activated by trigger movement along the vertical axis of the tool. | 12-24-2015 |

20090285925 | DEVICE FOR PREPARING PIPE ENDS FOR JOINTING - A device for the preparation of pipe ends, prior to jointing them together using an inserted close-fitting spool and an external close-fitting sleeve, consists of a plain cylindrical mandrel ( | 11-19-2009 |
20110151045 | EXPANSION TOOL DEVICE FOR PLIERS OR MACHINE FOR PRODUCING SOCKETS AT THE ENDS OF PIPES MADE OUT OF PLASTIC OR COMPOSITE MATERIAL - The present invention is an expansion tool device for pliers or machine for producing sockets at the ends of pipes made out of plastic or composite material, used in the field of plumbing. The device includes a cylindrically-shaped ferrule formed by the tightening of several sector-shaped chucks. The chucks are movable in the radial direction under the action of the insertion between them of a tapered needle movable in axial translation through the actuation of the pliers or machine. The chucks are allowed to pass from a tightened position to a separated position. In an integrated way or in a unit designed capable of being intercalated between the ferrule and the pliers or machine, there is an automatic driver for the ferrule, when the ferrule passes from the separated position to the tightened position, directly or indirectly, in axial swiveling according to a portion of a turn. | 06-23-2011 |
20130017290 | FILM OPENING MECHANISMAANM Sawamura; TakujiAACI Sakai-shiAACO JPAAGP Sawamura; Takuji Sakai-shi JP - A film opening mechanism in which, regardless of whether a tubular film is long or short, a deviation in timing of delivery of the tubular film from a mandrel does not occur, and the tubular film does not become wrinkled. The film opening mechanism includes a mandrel for causing the tubular film to be opened into a predetermined state by fitting it thereon; a film transport unit composed of an upstream-side feed belt unit and a downstream-side feed belt unit, each having a feed belt which nips the tubular film fitted on the mandrel in cooperation with the mandrel to transport the tubular film toward a lower side of the mandrel; and attraction means for attracting the mandrel and the feed belt to each other by means of a magnetic attractive force. | 01-17-2013 |
20140348972 | Apparatus for forming the End Portions of Fibre Reinforced Thermoplastic Composite Tubes - A method and apparatus for forming at least one external annular flange ( | 11-27-2014 |
