20090213770Active Cancellation of Transmitter Leakage in a Wireless Transceiver - Active transmitter leakage cancellation techniques are disclosed, for reducing transmitter leakage in a frequency-duplexing radio transceiver. Reducing transmitter leakage to the receiver path of a duplex transceiver eases the linearity requirements for low-noise amplifier and mixer circuits, potentially reducing transceiver cost as well as complexity. In an exemplary method, a radio-frequency (RF) cancellation signal is generated from a transmitter signal, and the RF cancellation signal is combined with a received RF signal to obtain a combined RF signal comprising a residual transmitter leakage component. The residual transmitter leakage component of the combined RF signal is converted, using, e.g., a frequency mixer, to obtain a down-converted signal at baseband or at an intermediate frequency. A magnitude of the residual transmitter leakage component is detected from the down-converted signal, and used to adjust the phase or amplitude of the RF cancellation signal, or both, to reduce the residual transmitter leakage component.08-27-2009

The device comprises a means for associating carrier frequencies with the narrowband base stations and a means for distributing over the frequency band the carrier frequencies associated with the narrowband base stations such that each frequency block comprises at least two distinct groups of carrier frequencies, each associated with a different base station, the two groups of carrier frequencies being selected according to a distribution rule such that interference relating to the emission of the base stations associated with groups of carrier frequencies distributed in the same frequency block have a minimum interfered surface area.07-25-2013
20120044842METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR SCHEDULING USERS IN A FREQUENCY DIVISION DUPLEX WIRELESS SYSTEM WITH DUTY CYCLE LIMITATION - A system and method to provide intelligent scheduling of network resources when a user equipment (UE) is operating in a Frequency Division Duplex (FDD) wireless network with duty cycle limitation. Intelligent scheduling is accomplished in two stages—a training stage, and a scheduling stage. In the training stage, a training module in the eNodeB senses the Transmission Time Interval (TTI) pattern when the UE is “awake” (i.e., when the UE is transmitting power under a P % duty cycle (P<100)). In the scheduling stage, a scheduler in the eNodeB intelligently allocates the network resources to the UE for transmission on both uplink and downlink based on the information from the training stage. Thus, resources are allocated only when the UE is “awake” or can send/receive ACK/NAK when it is awake. Such intelligent scheduling may substantially reduce re-transmissions in the system and may improve system's efficiency in duty cycle-limited frequency bands.02-23-2012
