20080231445 | RFID tracking of chose in action - This invention assigns differing chose in action categories, such as banknote, check and stock certificate. Each category reflects electro magnetic signals through a nano size silicon integrated circuit package known as an RFID transponder. As an example, a unique identifier number, serial number, denomination amount, will be written onto each RFID transponder. A specific frequency can be assigned to each category. Each category is divided by at least 2 MHz with all transmissions taking place within the 24 to 40 GHz frequency range. The chose in action can be interrogated at specially shielded stations, such as cash registers or bank teller windows or at stock brokerage firms, to verify the authenticity of the chose in action. The interrogators will be connected to a centralized host system comprised of computer server and middleware to trace and track the progress of the chose in action through the economy in real time. This invention contemplates embedding the RFID nano size silicon integrated circuit package into polymer or paper based chose in action using a laminate or fiber weaving process. | 09-25-2008 |
20090109029 | BURGLARPROOF PURSE - A burglarproof purse installs a control switch and an alarm for issuing a warning sound at hidden positions of the purse, and a closed and opened loop is distributed all over each surface of the purse and connected to the control switch and the alarm, such that after a user turns on the control switch, the closed and opened loop will be disconnected whenever the purse is opened or any surface of the purse is damaged, and a warning sound is produced to alert the abnormal situation and scare away the thief who tries to open the purse illegally. | 04-30-2009 |
20090309729 | MONETARY PACKAGE SECURITY DURING TRANSPORT THROUGH CASH SUPPLY CHAIN - An armored carrier or other transport entity may scan a remotely-readable identification tag, such as a radio-frequency identification (RFID) tag, of each monetary package being picked up and/or delivered. The scanner used by the armored carrier may notify the armored carrier if one of the monetary packages goes out of range without being checked out, such as within a period of time. Also, if that monetary package is not returned within range within a particular period of time, the scanner may automatically notify a centralized system. The scanner may further be aware of scheduled monetary packages to be picked up. If not all of the monetary packages as expected are picked up, then the scanner may also notify the armored carrier. | 12-17-2009 |
20100194569 | Method for Handling Valuable Items - The present invention relates to a method of handling valuable items, such as banknotes and the like, in which there is used a valuable item storage unit ( | 08-05-2010 |
20110109457 | Apparatus For Keeping Documents Such As Cards - A cardholder in a book form, comprising a plurality of units each having two pockets, wherein each pocket is sized to hold a card, comprises an alarm circuit in its cover or in a special compartment. Conductive strips/traces on both sides of the walls of said pockets are configured such that if the cardholder is closed while at least one of the pockets is empty, said traces creates a closed electric path between terminals of said alarm circuit and the alarm is activated. However, if the book shaped cardholder is open such that an empty pocket is exposed—the alarm is deactivated. | 05-12-2011 |
20110181416 | MANIPULATION DETECTION SYSTEM FOR CASH BOXES THAT CAN BE INSERTED IN AND REMOVED FROM AUTOMATIC TELLER MACHINES - A manipulation detection system for removable insertable cash cartridges in automated banking machines is described,

20120242485 | Flexible Simulated Currency Pack Tracking Unit - A tracking unit for assisting in the recovery of stolen monies or other property includes a housing containing a GPS receiver for receiving GPS signals from overhead satellites, a cellular phone transceiver, a microprocessor, and a battery. Following a theft, the microprocessor activates the cellular phone transceiver to dial the telephone number of a central monitoring station. The microprocessor obtains location data from the GPS receiver and transmits the location data, along with identification information, to the central monitoring station. The tracking unit also includes a separate, conventional RF beacon transmitter for allowing authorities to home-in on the tracking unit within a large building or other structure, either after the GPS signals are lost, or after the location of the tracking unit is localized to a specific building or area. | 09-27-2012 |
20120326870 | DEVICE FOR PREVENTION OF CARD DISPLACEMENT - According to embodiments of the present invention, there is provided a device for prevention of card displacement. The device includes a holding element at least partially formed of electrically conductive material; a board including an electric circuit, an alarm element and a power source that is operatively associated with the electric circuit and the alarm element. The holding element is coupled to the board such that at least some of the electrically conducting material of the holding element is pressed by default against the board, such that adjustment of a card between the holding element and the board opens the electric circuit and wherein removal of the card therefrom closes the electric circuit and thereby activates the alarm element. | 12-27-2012 |
20130135103 | Smart card wallet - A card wallet that can detect a missing credit card or driver's license is described. A wallet for holding plastic cards records electronically the addition of cards as well as the removal of cards. Whenever the number of cards in the wallet is less than the recorded number of cards, a signal is sent to the user warning the user that a card is missing. This may be the result of leaving a credit card at a checkout counter, theft, mishandling, or loss. The warning signal is issued only a short time after the last card was removed, aiding in rapid investigation and recovery. A simple method of detecting a missing card is to add the number of incoming cards and subtract the number of outgoing cards. An arrangement of momentary switches is used to determine the direction that the card is moving in the wallet. | 05-30-2013 |
20140368345 | Method and Apparatus for Mobile Cash Transportation - A device designed to validate and transport paper currency in a protected fashion. While being transported, the device monitors for tampering or break-in attempts and subsequently generates warning notifications, or sounds an alarm depending on configuration and the type of tampering detected. The transport case provides end-to-end cash accountability from a location where a bill is inserted into the case, to the bank or cash destination, where the transport case is delivered. Additionally, a docking station accessory is described in which the transport case can be securely fixed while at a point of sale. | 12-18-2014 |
20160000196 | SYSTEM FOR AVOIDING CREDIT CARD LOSS - A system for detecting when a credit card is withdrawn, or otherwise becomes missing, from a user's wallet and for alerting the user when he has moved a certain distance away from his original location without replacing the card. | 01-07-2016 |
