A stopper is installed and a blade guide hole is formed at the front end part of the cassette cover member, and engagement recessed parts engaged with the elastically engaged claw pieces of the feeder in one direction are continuously formed in the inner surface of the cassette cover member in the longitudinal direction so that the feeder can be moved in the forward direction only. | 01-15-2009 |
20100127035 | Braking Mechanism for Nail Guns - In a braking mechanism for a nail gun, the nail gun includes a nail driving track, a magazine and an inner trigger for controlling a shooting action of the nail gun. The braking mechanism includes a safety rod, a sliding member, a swing stem, and a guide plate. The sliding member is slidably received in the magazine. The sliding member is configured for pushing nails received in the magazine into the nail driving track. The swing stem is resiliently and pivotally mounted on the sliding member. The swing stem includes a braking portion. A straight path is defined between the safety rod and the barking portion. A protrusion is formed on the braking portion. The guide plate is disposed at an end of the straight path. The guide plate is configured for guiding the protrusion such that the braking portion moves away from the straight path. The swing stem is capable of sliding off the guide plate as the sliding member moves to the nail driving track such that the braking portion moves back to the straight path to block the safety rod thereby braking shooting action of the nail gun. The braking mechanism has improved stability of braking of shooting action. | 05-27-2010 |
20110084111 | Braking and Driving Mechanism for Nail Gun - A braking and driving mechanism includes a guide plate, a driving rod, a magazine, and a pressing rod. The guide plate includes a longitudinal nail groove extending along a direction same to a nail driving direction of the nail gun. The longitudinal nail groove is communicated with a nail driving groove. The driving rod is slidably assembled on an end side of the guide plate along the nail driving direction. A stopping portion is formed on an end side of the driving rod. The magazine is transversely disposed on an end wall of the guide plate. An inner portion of the magazine defines a longitudinal guide groove for supplying nails. The longitudinal guide groove receives a plurality of nails therein and is communicated with the longitudinal nail groove. More than one nail pushing pieces capable of providing an elastic force are arranged in the longitudinal guide groove. The nail pushing pieces are configured for pushing the nails to pass through the longitudinal nail groove and enter into the nail driving groove one by one for shooting. The pressing rod consists of a bar shaped arm with its two opposite ends extending to respectively form a tongue portion and a pushing portion. A pivot portion is formed between the tongue portion and the pushing portion. The pressing rod is pivotably disposed in the magazine via the pivot portion. An elastic member for driving the arm to transversely press a main body of each of the nails is disposed on the pushing portion. If the number of remaining nails in the magazine is equal to a default number the elastic member drives the tongue portion to move to a position where the tongue portion can block the stopping portion such that the movement of the driving rod is braked. | 04-14-2011 |

20080308597 | MAGAZINE ASSEMBLY FOR NAILER - A cordless nailer is provided having a magazine assembly with improved features. A pusher assembly is provided having a simplified and efficient construction. A pusher retention feature is provided that prevents the driver blade from impacting a nail pusher. A nail retention feature is provided to allow easy loading and unloading of nails into the nailer. Finally, a method of assembling the magazine assembly is provided. | 12-18-2008 |
20090050668 | NAIL GUN WITH AN ANGLE-ADJUSTABLE MAGAZINE - A nail gun includes a body, a handle, a nail ejection member, a magazine member connected pivotally to the nail ejection member, and a connecting rod having an upper end connected pivotally to an end of the handle. One of the connecting rod and the magazine member is connectable with a selected one of first and second positioning portions of the other of the connecting rod and the magazine member to allow the magazine member to change between horizontal and inclined positions. In the horizontal position, a free end of the magazine member is spaced apart from the end of the handle. In the inclined position, the free end of the magazine member is adjacent to the end of the handle, and the connecting rod abuts against the magazine member along a full length thereof. | 02-26-2009 |
20100051666 | ROTARY FASTENER MAGAZINE - A fastener driving tool is provided, including a housing substantially enclosing a power source including a reciprocating piston with a driver blade. A nosepiece is associated with the housing and is configured for receiving the driver blade and for sequentially receiving fasteners for engagement with the driver blade for driving into a workpiece. A magazine is configured for retaining a supply of the fasteners and for sequentially feeding the fasteners to the nosepiece, the magazine storing a plurality of elongate strips of the fasteners, and being configured for rotating about a longitudinal axis of the magazine for providing access of fasteners in each fastener strip to the nosepiece. | 03-04-2010 |
20110006098 | NAILER WITH CONTROLLED ACTION FEEDER MAGAZINE ASSEMBLY - The pneumatic nailer has an elbowed feeder magazine for feeding fasteners one at a time. The magazine has an elongated inner frame segment fixedly mounted to the nailer main frame, an elongated outer frame segment operatively connected in non-coaxial fashion to the inner frame segment. Each of the inner and outer frame segments has a corresponding first and second channels, for slidingly retaining fasteners in coextensive slidethrough fashion. The fasteners are movable under gravity forces from a fastener intake to a fastener discharge outlet opposite the fastener intake. A fastener pusher device may be provided with a pusher retention device having an operative mode, active with a large storage load of fasteners into the magazine, and an inoperative mode, triggered when the load of magazine fasteners decreases below a threshold value. | 01-13-2011 |
20110220702 | POSTERIOR LOCKING DEVICE FOR NAIL CARTRIDGE OF NAIL GUN - A posterior locking device for use in a nail cartridge of a nail gun can hold a movable nail pusher at a rear part of the nail cartridge. The posterior locking device includes a locking member movably mounted to the rear part of the nail cartridge, a springy member for providing resilience forcing the locking member back to an initial position, and a guide post fixed to the nail pusher. When the nail pusher is externally forced to slide to the rearmost end of the nail cartridge and then released from the external force, the guide post can be locked into the locking member to hold the nail pusher at the rear part of the nail cartridge temporarily. Next, when the nail pusher is externally forced to the rearmost end again, the guide post can disengage from the locking member to allow the nail pusher to move back and forward. | 09-15-2011 |
20110297726 | DRIVE-IN DEVICE FOR FASTENING MEANS - In a fastening apparatus, a lockable slider is movably held along a magazine carrier, and coupled to a feeding element for a movement of fastening elements into an operating position below a firing pin. An adjustable retaining part for locking the slider is disposed on the magazine carrier, and has, in its locking position, at least one component section which protrudes into the feed path of the slider for a form closure with the slider in its locking position. The component section has at least one sliding surface running obliquely to the guide surfaces of the magazine carrier for shifting the retaining part from the locking position. The retaining part has a shoulder running approximately perpendicularly to the guide surfaces of the magazine carrier, which is configured so that it directly adjoins the obliquely running sliding surface. | 12-08-2011 |
20120111917 | FASTENING DEVICE - In accordance with an embodiment of the present invention, a fastening device such as, for example, a forward acting stapler, is provided that includes a manually operable latch in order to store the built up potential energy that results from depressing the handle of the fastening device. Upon actuation of the latch, the plunger within the fastening device is released, thereby converting the stored energy of an internal compression spring into kinetic energy and ejecting a fastener (such as, for example, staples, nails or other types of fasteners) from the staple chamber to fasten an object. | 05-10-2012 |
