The device is constructed in a double walled cylindrical (circular or non-circular) configuration with a hollow plunger component coaxially positioned within the cylindrical walls. Beneath the plunger component is contained a quantity of disinfectant solution such that when the plunger is directed downward the disinfectant solution is forced upward between the walls of the double walled container and through dispensing ports directed into the interior where the applicator is positioned. The contained motion of the plunger component downward under the directed force of the applicator brings the base of the hollow plunger into contact with the base wall of the container and causes the collapse of the hollow plunger. A second liquid/gel contained within the hollow plunger is then directed up and out of its enclosed volume through ports aligned with the applicator. The design is intended to accommodate a wide variety of compounds and applicators. Wherever the dispensing of two different compounds (liquids/gels) is required in a sequential manner, the present invention finds applicability.05-26-2011

20130015204SINGLE-USE CONTAINERS AND USES THEREOF - This invention relates generally to improving compliance. More specifically, the invention relates to single-use containers containing liquid formulations for ingestion, strips and packages of such containers, and to compliance improving systems using such containers.01-17-2013
20130175295SYSTEM FOR SAMPLING AND DISPLAY OF A PLURALITY OF BOUTIQUE BEERS - A beer sampling system for sampling one or more beverages such as beer from a range of bottled beverages, the system including at least one beer sampling assembly having: a support base frame; a canister removably mounted on the support base frame, the canister having an inner transparent member and a first and second transparent outer sleeve members, wherein the first outer sleeve member is adapted to receive a volume of bottled beer under pressure, and wherein the second outer sleeve member is adapted to receive and circulate a heat exchanging liquid to maintain the beer in the first outer sleeve at a drinking temperature; a tap mounted on the support base frame in liquid communication with the first outer sleeve of the canister for dispensing a sample of a beverage; a beverage clamp head interconnectable to both: a source of inert gas such as carbon dioxide and the first outer sleeve member of the canister; a refrigeration means for controlling the temperature of the heat exchanging liquid; a pump means for pumping the heat exchanging liquid to the second outer sleeve member, wherein the second outer sleeve member, refrigeration means and pumping means form a circuit for flow of heat exchange fluid; an actuator means for operating the system; and wherein in an operating condition a bottle of beer is placed with open end in the bottle receiving portion of the beverage clamp head, and the actuator means controls flow of inert gas such as carbon dioxide from a source of inert gas into the bottle via the siphon, and wherein beer from the bottle is transferred from the bottle to the first outer sleeve member where the beer is maintained under pressure in a sealed condition, and wherein a sample of the bottled beer can be obtained by operation of the tap.07-11-2013
20130119087BEVERAGE CONTAINER WITH SECONDARY INTERNAL DISPENSING CHAMBER - An internal chamber incorporated with the cap of a container, for example, a disposable beverage bottle. The internal chamber has an internal bore designed to hold a powder or liquid that can be released into the container. The chamber is inserted into a bottle or similar container when the cap is placed over the opening. A push-button on the top of the cap advances an actuator within the internal bore to push a diaphragm out of the distal end outlet port in the chamber to release the ingredient(s) within the internal chamber into the container. The diaphragm also has two or more peripheral guide rails to ensure that it remains aligned with the chamber housing during those movements. Alternative embodiments utilize a dome cover over the push-button. In use, the cap of the container can be removed, which will simultaneously remove the chamber, allowing the liquid in the container to be consumed or decanted.05-16-2013

20130153602SOLID CONCENTRATE DISPENSING SYSTEM - Dispensing systems facilitates formation and dispensation of a use solution from a solid concentrate. The dispensing system may include a cartridge attached to a spray bottle or other dispensing apparatus. The cartridge defines a reservoir configured to store a solid product concentrate. A diluent, such as water, is placed in a fluid reservoir of the dispensing apparatus. Activation of a dispensing mechanism, such as a trigger, creates a vacuum in the cartridge reservoir, opening a valve and drawing diluent from the fluid reservoir into the cartridge reservoir and onto the solid product. The flow of diluent onto the solid product causes a portion of the solid product to be dissolved, eroded, and/or otherwise mixed with the diluent to form a use solution. Actuation of the dispense mechanism may further draw the use solution from the cartridge reservoir and dispense the use solution through the nozzle.06-20-2013
