20090277392Recirculating Birdbath - A birdbath is disclosed that recirculates water and includes a substantially hollow pedestal that supports a basin. The pedestal forms a water reservoir therein and has an open top end and a sealed bottom end. The basin has an inner wall and an outer wall, both of which are joined at least at a peripheral edge of the basin and separated by a distance sufficient to allow the water to flow therebetween. The outer wall is open at a central portion and is adapted for engaging the open top end of the pedestal for attaching the basin thereto. The inner wall has an aperture formed therethrough at a center portion thereof, and at least one drainage aperture formed proximate the peripheral edge of the basin. A water pump is disposed within the reservoir of the pedestal for pumping water from the reservoir through a basin supply conduit, through the aperture of the inner wall, and into the basin. Once the water reaches the at least one drainage aperture, it drains between the inner and outer walls, and flows through the central portion of the outer wall and back into the reservoir.11-12-2009
20110174226AUTOMATIC BIRDBATH MAINTENANCE - A method for automatically maintaining a birdbath, a kit for automating maintenance of a birdbath, and a birdbath with integrated automated maintenance are provided. Maintenance of a birdbath includes placing a barrier in a birdbath bowl. Further, maintenance comprises performing a cleaning phase that streams water from a nozzle located remotely from the barrier such that water is sprayed into the bowl with sufficient force to cause water to swirl around the barrier, which cleans the bowl and discharges debris and contaminated water in the bowl when such debris and contaminated water crosses in line with the water stream. Still further, the maintenance comprises performing a filling phase after the cleaning phase, which streams water through the nozzle such that water is sprayed from the nozzle to fill the birdbath bowl with water.07-21-2011
119311000 INCUBATOR 3
20090199780APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR FEEDING CHICKS DURING THE HATCHING PROCESS - A method and a compartment within an incubator, capable of allowing chicks to feed during the hatching process without reducing hatchability or livability. Thanks to immediate post hatch nutrition, the development during the chicks first days is significantly improved, resulting in a significant improvement in their weight as well. Furthermore, the accessibility of feed for the chicks is enabled and improved immediately after their hatching thanks to suitable lighting and the use of feeding troughs with transparent walls.08-13-2009
20090159011Small animal incubator with a removable drawer - A small animal veterinary incubator is disclosed with an animal holding drawer that can be inserted into a temperature controlled enclosure and removed when not in use for cleaning and disinfecting. In various embodiments the incubator is portable, is at least partly transparent, controls interior oxygen and/or humidity, can use a hose to bring oxygen into close proximity with incubated animals, can introduce water-nebulized air or oxygen into the drawer through a hole, and can include a holder for a humidity bottle that humidifies air or oxygen supplied to the incubator. Some embodiments use an adjustable or regulated lamp to warm the incubator using an infrared bulb of 50 or 75 Watts. Temperature, humidity, and/or oxygen gages or sensors can be included, and the temperature, oxygen, and/or humidity can be automatically regulated. Preferred embodiments include closable vents that can be opened to allow for ventilation when only temperature is controlled.06-25-2009
20110000437USE OF A CYCLONE SEPARATOR AND CLIMATE CHAMBER FOR HATCHING EGGS AND/OR KEEPING POULTRY - The invention relates to the use of a cyclone separator for separating keratin particles originating from poultry out of a gas, in particular air. The separated particles comprise down particles. The invention furthermore relates to a climate chamber for hatching eggs and/or keeping poultry. Said climate chamber comprises a substantially closed compartment having two opposite side walls provided with one or more passages; as well as a substantially closed duct which extends outside the compartment and connects one of said side walls to the other of said side walls so as to form a substantially closed circuit together with the compartment. Said climate chamber furthermore comprises a cyclone separator, the inlet of which ends in the substantially closed duct and the outlet of which ends outside the closed duct for discharging into the environment.01-06-2011
119700000 TREADMILL 2
20100326366TREAD MILL - A tread mill is disclosed. The tread mill includes a lower frame to which a belt track rotated by a motor is mounted, a pair of support frames erected on an end of the lower frame in such a way as to be spaced apart from each other, and a hand rail attached to each of the support frames. The tread mill includes a harness unit for supporting a body of a pet, and a support unit removably coupled to the hand rail to support the harness unit such that the pet remains on the belt track. Such a construction allows a person or a pet to exercise.12-30-2010
20100175634Pet treadmill - A pet treadmill includes a power source for outputting a drive power. An exercise platform is laterally connected to the power source. The exercise platform includes a longitudinally main from stably disposed on a supporting ground, multiple supports secured on a bottom of the main frame to make the main frame being separated from the supporting ground, a support platform mounted within the main frame for enhancing the structure of the main frame, two driven axles transversely and rotatably mounted to two opposite ends of the main frame, and an endless strap coiled the two driven axle and surround the support, wherein a corresponding one of the two driven axle is driven by the manual power source to operate the endless strap, on which the pet imitates a jog action.07-15-2010
