The clamping spring comprises a conductive leaf spring having a clamping leg that is inclined, when in the conductor clamping position, at a first acute angle relative to the insertion axis of the conductor. In one embodiment, the clamping leg is supported by an attachment arrangement including an attachment leg arranged at second acute angle relative to the insertion axis. In order to dissipate the heat generated by the diodes, the diodes are mounted on a heat conducting plate that transmits the heat toward the photovoltaic panel.
