20120079626LIPASE POLYPEPTIDE - We describe a plant lipase polypeptide and nucleic acids that encode said polypeptide which has homology to a patatin and which has phospholipase and/or triacylglycerol lipase activity.03-29-2012
20110274626PULSE SEQUENCING WITH HYPERPOLARISABLE NUCLEI - There is described a method of selective observation of non-hydrogenative para-hydrogen induced polarisation (NH-PHIP) as enhanced magnetic resonance signals which comprises separating the thermal and longitudinal spin order states. There is also described a template comprising [Ir(COD)(NHC)(Py)]11-10-2011
20110219679MICROWAVE TORREFACTION OF BIOMASS - There is described a processor for use in the microwave torrefaction of biomass material which comprises, a micronised biomass char material and a method of producing a biomass char material, and a method of producing L-glucosan.09-15-2011
20110060028COMBINATION THERAPY - This disclosure relates to a SIRT1 polypeptide and a treatment regime that inhibits the activity of SIRT1 and including a method of diagnosis.03-10-2011
20110030585BIOREFINERY PRODUCTS IN STRUCTURAL MATERIALS - There is described a structural material comprising a substrate and a binder characterised in that the binder comprises a bio-silicate and a process for the manufacture thereof.02-10-2011
20100317851LUMINOPHORES - There is described novel organo-platinum luminophores comprising a complex of formula (I). The luminophores have application as the emissive component in organic light emitting diodes.12-16-2010
20100181035GLUCOSYLTRANSFERASES - We describe transgenic cells which are transformed with nucleic acid molecules which encode glucosyltransferase polypeptides involved in phenylpropanoid biosynthesis.07-22-2010
20100127170ELECTRON BEAM CONTROL METHOD, ELECTRON BEAM GENERATING APPARATUS, APPARATUS USING THE SAME, AND EMITTER - Provided is a Schottky emitter having the conical end with a radius of curvature of 2.0 μm on the emission side of an electron beam. Since a radius of curvature is 1 μm or more, a focal length of an electron gun can be longer than in a conventional practice wherein a radius of curvature is in the range of from 0.5 μm to not more than 0.6 μm. The focal length was found to be roughly proportional to the radius of the curvature. Since the angular current intensity (the beam current per unit solid angle) is proportional to square of the electron gun focal length, the former can be improved by an order of magnitude within a practicable increase in the emitter radius. A higher angular current intensity means a larger beam current available from the electron gun and the invention enables the Schottky emitters to be used in applications which require relatively high beam current of microampere regime such as microfocus X-ray tube, electron probe micro-analyzer, and electron beam lithography system.05-27-2010
20090233343AFFINITY PURIFICATION OF PROTEIN - We describe fusion proteins comprising a bacterial immunity polypeptide and their use in affinity purification of protein complexes.09-17-2009
20080271207Lipase Polypeptide - We describe a plant lipase polypeptide and nucleic acids that encode said polypeptide which has homology to a patatin and which has phospholipase and/or triacylglycerol lipase activity.10-30-2008
