20110235340Light guide - The present invention relates to a light guide. The light guide includes at least one incident portion, a light-emitting surface, a diffusing portion and two lateral portions. The incident portion is disposed at at least one end of the light guide, and used to receive at least one light source. The light-emitting surface is used to guide light. The diffusing portion is disposed opposite the light-emitting surface, and has a plurality of zigzag structures used to guide light to the light-emitting surface. Two lateral portions are connected between the light-emitting surface and the diffusing portion respectively, and a plurality of surfaces of the lateral portions are part of a camber of a long border of an ellipse. The incident portion according to the present invention may further have an accommodating hole and a free form; the accommodating hole is used to accommodate the light source, and the free form is disposed at the periphery of the incident portion. The light guide according to the present invention allows light to be guided uniformly from the light-emitting surface, and the incident portion of the light guide according to the present invention receives most light emitted from the light source, thereby enhancing the guiding efficiency of the light guide.09-29-2011
20100284100ADJUSTING DEVICE FOR REFLECTING MIRROR - An adjusting device for a reflecting mirror includes a driving device, a first linkage device, a second linkage device, a shifting device, and a limiting device. The driving device drives the first linkage device and the second linkage device to rotate and enables the shifting device to relatively move on the limiting device of the reflecting mirror, so as to adjust an angle of the reflecting mirror. The driving device, the first linkage device, the second linkage device, the shifting device, and the limiting device of the reflecting mirror provided by the present invention are simple in structure and easy to assemble, thereby lowering the total manufacturing cost of the adjusting device for a reflecting mirror of the present invention, and reducing damages to the components so as to prolong service life.11-11-2010
20100002448STREET LAMP WITH IMPROVED EMISSION EFFICIENCY - The invention relates to a street lamp with improved emission efficiency. The street lamp of the invention includes: a base, a transparent plate, a projecting mirror and a cover. The transparent plate is mounted on an aperture of the base. The projecting mirror is formed as a concave and arc mask with a waved shape, and has a reflecting surface and a lamp holder. The reflecting surface is mounted on the inner concave side and has a plurality of reflecting sections. The lamp holder is mounted on a side wall of the projecting mirror and is used for mounting a lamp. The cover combines with the base. By using a metal halide lamp with low power consumption and high luminous intensity, and having a reflecting surface that has a precise optical design and average light distribution, the street lamp of the invention can reduce power consumption, improve emission and multi-reflection efficiencies, and increase the average luminous intensity and the entire luminous effect.01-07-2010
20090303741VEHICLE HEADLIGHT CAPABLE OF COMPENSATING FOR LIGHT INTENSITY OF DARK REGION - A vehicle headlight capable of compensating for light intensity of a dark region includes a lamp holder, a light source, a light shield, and a light guide. The lamp holder defines an accommodation space, and includes a reflector and a lens disposed on a front side of the reflector. The light source is installed in the accommodation space and disposed along an optical axis, and light rays emitted from the light source are refracted by the lens and emitted forwards. The light shield is assembled on the lamp holder and located between the light source and the lens, and the light shield is used to shield some of the light rays emitted from the light source. The light guide conducts some of the light rays towards the lens, such that the light rays are emitted forwards and upwards, thereby compensating for the light intensity of the dark region above the optical axis.12-10-2009
20090279318VEHICLE HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY - A headlight assembly includes a housing, a light source, a light shielding plate, and a light guiding plate. The housing defines a compartment, and includes a reflector and a lens disposed in front of the reflector. The light source is mounted in the compartment and is disposed on an optical axis. The light shielding plate is mounted between the light source and the lens. The light guiding plate is disposed below the optical axis. A first portion of light beams emitted upwardly is reflected by the reflector, passes over the light shielding plate and through the lens, which refracts the first portion of the light beams to form a first illuminating pattern. A second portion of the light beams passes through the light guiding plate and through the lens, which refracts the second portion of the light beams to result in a second illuminating pattern that is directed forwardly and upwardly.11-12-2009
20090141468LIGHT EMITTING ASSEMBLY AND METHOD FOR ASSEMBLING THE SAME - A lead-mounting seat includes a conductive seat body including a lead-mounting plate and spaced apart first and second insert legs that extend from the lead-mounting plate and that have different geometric shapes. The lead-mounting plate is formed with a plurality of lead-mounting holes. Each of the first and second insert legs has a connecting end connected to the lead-mounting plate, and a free end opposite to the connecting end. Each of the first and second insert legs is reduced in width from the connecting end to the free end.06-04-2009
20080310157Illuminating device - An illuminating device includes an illuminating unit including a light source that is mounted on a base board and that has a first number of first light emitting diodes and a second number of second light emitting diodes. Each of the first and second light emitting diodes of the light source has a light-emitting area. The light-emitting area of each first light emitting diode has a maximum horizontal width, and a maximum vertical width smaller than the maximum horizontal width of the light-emitting area of a corresponding first light emitting diode. The light-emitting area of each second light emitting diode has a maximum vertical width, and a maximum horizontal width not greater than the maximum vertical width of the light-emitting area of a corresponding second light emitting diode.12-18-2008
