20100258473	TORSION BIASING ASSEMBLY - Embodiments of the invention relate to a cosmetic case that comprises a lid and a base comprising a tray and a base outer shell. The lid is connected to the base by a hinge. The hinge comprises a torsion biasing assembly having relatively rotatable parts which interfit to retain a torsion element, so that relative rotation of the parts changes the strain in the torsion element. The tray is connected to the lid by the hinge and the base outer shell is fitted to the cosmetic case by being attached to the tray.
