20120118586DEVICE AND METHOD FOR SEQUESTERING A SUBSTANCE - There are provided a carbon dioxide storage apparatus and a carbon dioxide storage method which, through direct injection of carbon dioxide into an underground brine aquifer, can store carbon dioxide efficiently in the brine aquifer. A filter formed of, for example, grindstone is provided at a tip portion of an injection well. A pumping apparatus pumps carbon dioxide stored in a carbon dioxide tank. The pumping apparatus feeds carbon dioxide from the carbon dioxide tank into the injection well by means of a pump. In the pumping apparatus, carbon dioxide is held within a predetermined pressure range and a predetermined temperature range. Carbon dioxide is fed through the injection well, and is injected into a brine aquifer. Carbon dioxide injected into the brine aquifer assumes the form of microbubbles.05-17-2012
20120068454PIPE JOINT - A pipe joint comprising a pressing nut into which a flexible pipe is inserted, a joint body into which the pressing nut is partially inserted, a resilient means unlocked when pushed by a tip end of the flexible pipe, a sealing member, a retainer engaging the flexible pipe, and an engaging mechanism keeping the pressing nut at a predetermined position in the joint body; the engaging mechanism comprising a stop ring, an annular groove formed on an outer surface of the pressing nut for receiving the stop ring, pluralities of engaging grooves formed on an inner surface of the joint body for receiving the stop ring and communicating with each other; the stop ring engaging both of the annular groove and the first engaging groove before the connection of the flexible pipe is completed; and when the flexible pipe is pulled after completing the connection, the stop ring moving from the first engaging groove to the second engaging groove to draw the pressing nut from the joint body, so that the normal connection of the flexible pipe can be confirmed.03-22-2012
20110223501HYDROGEN-RECYCLING MCFC POWER-GENERATING SYSTEM - Provided is a hydrogen-recycling MCFC power-generating system that can improve power generation efficiency by effectively utilizing fuel gas having the hydrogen included in anode exhaust as the main component, and that can reduce the amount of carbon dioxide discharged by separating and recovering the carbon dioxide. The system is provided with a molten carbonate fuel cell (09-15-2011

20100291459Segmented-In-Series Solid Oxide Fuel Cell Stack and Fuel Cell - A segmented-in-series solid oxide fuel cell stack of the invention comprises: an electrically-insulating porous support body having a gas passage therein; and a plurality of fuel cells arranged side by side on a surface of the support body. Each fuel cell have a first inner electrode layer; a current collector and a second inner electrode layer arranged side by side on the first inner electrode layer; and a solid electrolyte layer and an outer electrode layer sequentially laminated on the second inner electrode layer, and have a multilayer structure in which the solid electrolyte layer is extended and connected to the current collector through an intermediate layer. These fuel cells are connected in series. The current collector and the second inner electrode layer are arranged with a predetermined clearance therebetween on the first inner electrode layer. A fuel cell of the invention is formed by storing these segmented-in-series solid oxide fuel cell stacks in a storage container.11-18-2010
