The base may include a post extending outwardly for supporting the flexible elastic loop on the post. The cable management apparatus may also include a removable grooved collar for receiving the hanging loop portion of the flexible elastic loop. The removable grooved collar surrounds the post and slides onto the post.02-16-2012
20120002356CUSTOMIZABLE BUS SYSTEM - A customizable bus system includes a system module containing one or more accessory modules and is easily mounted along a surface in a workspace, such as the underside of a cabinet. The accessory modules provide conveniently located utility services and applications such as power, lighting or media connections, and may be interchanged within the bus system to provide particular services and applications where they are needed most. Additionally, the bus system may include a control center for controlling the operation of one or more of the accessory modules, such as manually or automatically. The bus system may also include multiple housings that are functionally linked. Additionally, the housings may be integrated with the applications and take the form of a modular stick, which can be easily installed to provide a service or application in an area, or removed and replaced by a modular stick having another desired service or application.01-05-2012
20110303797POWER POLE EXTENDER - A power pole extender for extending the length of a base power pole includes a housing having a central divider separating a first channel within the housing from a second channel within the housing. The power pole extender interfaces with the base power pole such that the first and second channels communicate with power and communication channels of the base power pole, respectively, allowing power and communication wiring to extend therethrough. The power pole extender includes a first support sleeve partially disposed within the first channel and extending outwardly therefrom and a second support sleeve partially disposed within the second channel and extending outwardly therefrom. The first and second support sleeves provide structural support to the interface between the power pole extender and the base power pole. The power pole extender may be secured to the base power pole by a detachable clip.12-15-2011
20110166710METHODS AND SYSTEMS TO SIMULATE AND OPTIMIZE WHOLE BUILDING COMFORT AND ENERGY PERFORMANCE - A method and system for balancing user comfort with energy conservation in an energy management system having a plurality of electrical devices includes a dial system in communication with the energy management system. Movement of a movable member of the dial system between the first extreme and the second extreme commands the energy management system to change the operating settings of the plurality of electrical devices. A method for optimizing energy conservation in a building having an energy management system with a plurality of electrical devices includes inputting and defining fixed and variable building parameters, as well as building usage conditions predicting building usage. The variable building parameters are varied to minimizing energy consumption by the energy management system in accordance with the fixed building parameters and the predicted building usage.07-07-2011
20110062307PRE-POUR SLEEVE SYSTEM - A pre-pour sleeve system having a sleeve body and a key that cooperate to form a void in a floor, wall, or other structure. The sleeve body includes a first termination end and a second termination end defining a gap therebetween, each termination end including a mating sleeve feature. The key includes at least one mating key feature adapted to mate with each mating sleeve feature of the body, said key further having a key body that fits into the gap of the sleeve body. In an engaged position, the key is mated with the sleeve body to form a substantially continuous shape, around which concrete or other material is poured. After the concrete sets, the key is disengaged from the sleeve body, allowing the sleeve body to compress and be removed from the floor and reclaimed.03-17-2011
20100155133DOWNWARD FACING RECEPTACLE ASSEMBLY FOR CABLE RACEWAY - A cable raceway system includes a device bracket and a device cover for outfitting an elongate cable raceway with a downward facing electrical device. The raceway, configured for attachment to a wall surface, is of the type having an interior wireway. The device bracket is cooperative with the raceway for access to the wireway, and includes a device support for connecting an electrical device to the bracket, in a downward facing orientation with respect to the raceway. More particularly, when an electrical device is attached to the device support, an access face of the electrical device is oriented generally perpendicularly with respect to the wall surface. The cover cooperates with the bracket and raceway for covering the bracket, and has a faceplate portion complementary to the electrical device.06-24-2010
20100122466ALIGNMENT APPARATUS - An alignment apparatus includes an adapter base having a support for rotatably mounting a laser level device thereon and at least one bracket receptacle adapted to attach to an end of a raceway-mounting bracket or other type of bracket. The adapter base may also include more than one type of bracket receptacle to accommodate different types of brackets.05-20-2010
20100084182OUTLET ASSEMBLY - An outlet assembly installed over an existing device box and wiring to provide an integrated appearance for a new low voltage installation alongside the existing device box, without requiring disturbance of the existing device box or wiring.04-08-2010
20100051615FIRE CLASSIFIED FLOOR BOX ASSEMBLY - A floor box assembly includes a floor box, a mounting plate, a below-floor insulation kit, and an intumescent stem. When the floor box is installed on a floor deck having flutes and valleys, the mounting plate straddles one or more valleys and supports the floor box. The below-floor insulation kit closes off the flutes adjacent to the valley straddled by the mounting plate, and the intumescent stem penetrates the floor deck at the bottom of the valley. When installed, the floor box assembly is held together by attachment fasteners extending from the mounting plate through the floor deck and the below-floor insulation kit.03-04-2010
20090159308COVER ASSEMBLY FOR AN IN-FLOOR BOX - A cover assembly for a floor-mounted enclosure or in-floor box includes a lid that remains flush with the floor and covers the in-floor box while permitting egress of electrical cables connected to receptacles housed in the box.06-25-2009

20080283291MODULAR RACEWAY WITH BASE AND INTEGRAL DIVIDER - Raceway modules of predetermined length are joined by couplers designed to allow optional gaps between the T-shaped raceway base plate portions. Upper and lower L-shaped raceway covers are separately snapped out the base, allowing electrical and data/communication devices to be provided in staggered relationship, and anywhere along the raceway. The lower L-shaped raceway cover configuration allows outlet devices to be provided in the lower side of the raceway. The T-shaped base plate has pre-punched knock-out openings and mounting holes provided in a predetermined pattern, and pre-punched lines of weakening, that simplify the installation process. The couplers come in several lengths and configurations, to bridge crossing raceway or other obstructions, and to provide continuity in the gaps between the raceway modules. Pre-wired cover components are fitted with spaced outlet devices for installation in areas of a room that require such service.11-20-2008
