The industrial fan impeller includes a front plate with a first diameter and a back plate with a second diameter larger than the first diameter of the front plate. Blades are attached to the front plate and the back plate. Individual blades have an outer edge with a tapered portion and a level portion. The blades are positioned between the front plate and the back plate such that the tapered portion of the outer edge of the individual blades tapers towards the front plate of the industrial fan impeller.	11-24-2011
