|20150083805||ITEM REGISTRATION APPARATUS AND MEASURING DEVICE - The present invention provides an item registration apparatus and a measuring device cooperating with a mobile terminal to allow smooth registration of sold-by-weight items being purchased by a customer. The item registration apparatus comprises: a measuring device having a weighing tray on which an item is put; and a mobile terminal which can be connected to the measuring device via communication channel (access point or the like). When the item is put on said weighing tray of the measuring device and the measurement of the item is thus completed, the measuring device transmits transaction information of the measured item to the mobile terminal via the communication channel so that the transaction information is stored. This eliminates printing of code information on a label issued from the measuring device and operation of scanning the printed code information by using the mobile terminal.||03-26-2015|

A wireless display mount supplies electricity to a wireless display wirelessly via electromagnetic induction and includes a case, a power wire and a connection terminal. The case has a cavity in-between the power wire where a wireless display may be installed. A wireless display system includes a wireless display, and wireless display mount. The wireless display has a loop coil. The wireless display mount has a housing for housing the power wire, disposed adjacent to the loop coil and formed at a location separated from the mounting surface of the wireless display mount.||10-31-2013|
|20120312605||COMMODITY SEARCH DEVICE AND COMMODITY INFORMATION PROCESSING DEVICE - A commodity search device includes a storage unit, a measuring unit, a number input unit, a unit average weighing value calculator, and a first commodity search unit. The storage unit stores commodity information including a reference unit weight determined for each commodity. The measuring unit measures a total weight of commodities placed at a predetermined weighing position. The number input unit allows inputting the number of the weighed commodities. The unit average weighing value calculator divides the total weight of the commodities weighed by the measuring unit by the number input by the number input unit to calculate a unit average weighing value per one commodity. The first commodity search unit searches for commodities falling within a weight deviation from the storage unit using the unit average weighing value.||12-13-2012|
|20120193022||LABEL AFFIXING DEVICE AND METHOD OF AFFIXING LABEL - Provided is a label affixing device to affix linerless labels having different lengths cut and dispensed at the correct position on an article. A label affixing device includes a label issuing unit for cutting and dispensing a linerless label sheet into an individual label, and a label affixer for affixing to an article the linerless label dispensed; the label issuing unit includes a label feeder that feeds the linerless label sheet, a label cutter that cuts the linerless label sheet, and a label cutter controller that controls the operation of the label cutter; and the label affixer includes an affixing unit that moves the linerless label towards an article, and an affixing unit controller that controls the movement of the affixing unit.||08-02-2012|

In one implementation a process involves transporting the product in a first direction, printing information on a film by use of a first printer prior to the film being applied to the product, the film having a width that is less than a width of the product and shrinkable only in a longitudinal direction. In one implementation the film is then applied to the product to produce at least a partial film sleeve around at least a first portion of the product as the product is advanced in the first direction. In one implementation heat is then conveyed to at least a section of the film applied to the product to cause the film to shrink in the longitudinal direction.||04-21-2011|

The conveying part includes a plurality of conveyers placed adjacently in series for conveying articles successively in a straight line. The plurality of measuring parts measure weight or dimensions of the respective articles successively conveyed by the conveying part. The determining part determines the weight or the dimensions of the respective articles based on the measured values by the plurality of the measuring parts.||05-27-2010|
|20090261164||MOBILE TERMINAL, REGISTER DEVICE, AND COMMODITY SALE PROCESSING SYSTEM - A mobile terminal is provided. A scanner unit reads code information attached to a commodity. A RAM stores the code information read by the scanner unit as commodity-for-purchase information. The scanner unit, to confirm whether the commodity-for-purchase information stored in the RAM is correct, the scanner unit reads the code information of one part of the commodity-for-purchase. A CPU switches from reading for storage to reading for confirmation. It is determined whether information contained in the code information read by the scanner unit is stored in the RAM. A display displays a result of the determination.||10-22-2009|
|20090166414||COMMODITY SALES PROCESSING SYSTEM - A commodity sales processing system in which when a handy terminal receives membership number data that is sent from a membership card reader in the case of a valid membership card, the handy terminal transmits an optical signal (lock release signal), and a customer cradle receives the lock release signal from the handy terminal and releases the lock of the handy terminal.||07-02-2009|
|20090072028||COMMODITY-VENDING SYSTEM AND WEIGHT-SCALE APPARATUS - When a customer picks up a commodity at a store aisles and operates a tag device, a PLU code of the commodity is transmitted from the tag device to a weight-scale apparatus. The terminal device is provided corresponding to each commodity. The weight-scale apparatus upon receiving the PLU code increments a counter value (prepared per commodity) in only one step, and displays a commodity icon corresponding to the PLU code on a liquid-crystal touch panel. The counter value increments every time the PLU code is received. The weight-scale apparatus subsequent to weighing issues a label and decrement only a step of the counter value. The icon corresponding to the counter value continues to be displayed unless the counter value does not indicate “0 (zero)”. The icon is erased when the counter value indicates “0 (zero)”. This results in providing superior operations in weighing and selecting various types of commodities, displayed at the store aisles, that are objects to be weighed.||03-19-2009|
