20120125188Extensible Protection System - An extensible protection system, comprises a frame that can be deployed around a central tube of longitudinal axis, comprising two ends, a frame covering fabric, the frame having at least two pairs of rigid tubes, two rigid tubes of one pair, in a respective axial plane passing through the longitudinal axis, being articulated by one of their ends to a respective yoke, of which yokes one is secured to one of the ends of the central tube, and the other is secured to the other end of said central tube, the other free ends of the rigid tubes being able to move in the axial plane of the pair, one semirigid tube per pair of rigid tubes, in said axial plane of the pair, comprising at each of its ends a piston, each piston of a semirigid tube being able to slide fluidtightly in each one of the rigid tubes of the pair in order to form a pressurizing chamber in each of the rigid tubes, the protection system further comprising a device for pressurizing the chambers of the rigid tubes in order to cause the pistons to move in the rigid tubes and cause the system to change from a folded position to a deployed position.05-24-2012
20120012025Munition Comprising a Body, an Explosive Charge and Wedging Means Between the Body and the Explosive Charge - A munition, such as a missile, a rocket or a projectile, includes a body forming an internal volume and an explosive charge confined in the internal volume. It applies notably, but not exclusively, to munitions of which the explosive charge comprises coated explosive molecules in a polymer binder. The explosive charge substantially conforms to the shape of an internal longitudinal surface of the internal volume, the internal surface being substantially of revolution about an axis and including protruding portions and/or cavities making it possible to keep the explosive charge wedged in the body.01-19-2012
20110308416LOW-VULNERABILITY PYROTECHNICAL CHARGE - Pyrotechnic charges that include an explosion generator and an explosive having an outer surface divided into n segments, each segment having kq multiple ignition points for the explosive, k and q being integer numbers greater than 1. The kq multiple ignition points for the explosive are linked by ignition lines forming, for each segment, at least two interleaved partial networks for synchronous ignition of the kq multiple ignition points, each of the partial synchronous ignition networks being linked to a respective partial network detonator.12-22-2011
20100308153Device for Opening and Locking a Tail Unit for Ammunition - A device for opening and locking a tail unit is provided. The tail unit includes a body and at least one fin, pivotable relative to the body along a first axis, that has a projection that forms an element. The device comprises a control ring, slidable relative to the body along a second axis, that includes a component, forming an element, that bears against the projection to deploy the fin, the second axis being non-parallel and non-secant to the first axis. A means for shaping one of the elements during translation along the second axis of the control ring towards the projection of the fin is provided on the other element. The body includes a bearing surface to support the fin during shaping, in which the support of the fin on the bearing surface corresponds to the deployed position of the fin.12-09-2010
20090320709SAFETY LIGHTER FOR PYROTECHNIC DEVICE - Embodiments of the invention relate to a safety lighter intended to initiate the combustion of a pyrotechnic device, the lighter including a lighter body (12-31-2009
20090308235PYROTECHNIC DEVICE FOR DESTROYING AMMUNITIONS - The invention relates to a pyrotechnic device for the destruction of munitions by an explosive at least partially surrounding the munitions having walls for confining the active products. The device includes an igniter for the controlled ignition of the explosive, the igniter configured to couple explosive detonation waves into the walls of the munitions along at least two opening lines of said walls of the munitions. Application of embodiments of the invention includes controlled destruction of munitions or objects containing pyrotechnic and/or chemical substances.12-17-2009
20090155523BALLISTIC SAFETY DEVICE - The present invention relates to a ballistic protection device. A device embodying the invention includes at least three layers of synthetic fabrics forming the reinforcements of one and the same piece obtained by resin-transfer molding, the middle layer made from a fabric including glass fibers crossed with carbon fibers. An embodiment of the invention applies, for example, to the protection of vehicles against ballistic-type attacks.06-18-2009
20090090265DEVICE FOR NEUTRALIZING AND DESTROYING BUILDINGS FOR STORING NOXIOUS SUBSTANCES - The invention relates to the field of penetrative projectiles capable of penetrating buildings whose structures are reinforced such as anti-aircraft shelters for example. The invention consists in a projectile comprising a solid penetrative body designed to perforate a wall of the building, the roof for example. Inside the projectile according to the invention are housed sub-munitions enclosing the charge in the form of bomblets, a device for plugging the hole formed in the wall by the passage of the projectile, and a sequencing and command device. When the wall is penetrated, the rear portion of the penetrative body is separated from the rest of the penetrative body and the plugging device is deployed so as to block the hole that has been passed through. After penetration, the front portion of the penetrative body continues its route toward the ground while the sub-munitions enclosing the bomblets remain suspended in the air under the wall.04-09-2009
