The diagnosis phase includes presenting, simultaneously at least one different audible sound in a user's left ear and right ear. Each sound is different for each ear. A determination is made if the user can correctly recall the sound, whereby incorrect recollection indicates a disorder. The treatment phase includes repetitively presenting over time, the patient/user with different audio signals to each ear with the signals being presented simultaneously. An interface is provided for the patient/user to attempt to reproduce said audio signals presented.
