20110114651FITTING TORQUE ARM RESTRAINT - A torque arm restraint is provided with a body having a bore including an axis and an arm extending from said body transversely to the axis. The restraint is adapted for resisting torque applied to the fitting of a liquid storage tank, and is configured either for mounting on a fitting or as a component of the fitting. The fitting may be an outlet fitting having a pipe mounted thereto and extending from the wall of the tank. The tubular body permits passage of instrumentation or liquid through the torque arm restraint and the fitting and the arm is provided with an abutment surface positioned proximate to the inside surface of the tank wall, either in engagement or in spaced relationship, whereby the arm resists torque applied to the fitting from outside of the tank. The body may include an attachment member which extends axially from the body and adapted, for example by threads, for mounting to a tank fitting, and the body may be coupled to a pipe within the interior of the tank.05-19-2011
20110100869PROTECTION AND CONTAINMENT SYSTEM FOR CO-PACKAGED CONTAINERS - A protection and containment system for co-packaged containers is provided which includes a hollow primary container, a top protector complementally configure to fit atop the primary container, and at least one retainer coupled to the top protector for holding a secondary container. The primary container has a circumscribing upright sidewall and an opening configured for receiving material to be stored in the container. The top protector includes a side wall and at least a pair of spaced-apart opposed risers, most preferably provided as one of four corner modules, the risers extending upwardly from the primary container above the opening and presenting a gap between the risers which is sized and configured for receiving the secondary container. Several retainers can be provided, either to hold the secondary containers in different gaps, or provided in tandem to hold two secondary containers adjacent to one another in or proximate a single gap.05-05-2011
20100326531COMBINATION FLOW CONTROL VALVE AND REVERSE FLOW CHECK VALVE - A combination flow control and reverse flow check valve provides a compact valve unit for controlling the flow of fluid in a downstream direction and limiting undesired backflow of liquid into a source such as a reservoir. The flow control and reverse flow check valve may be provided as a unitary member having a housing with an upstream end configured for mounting to the liquid source, a fluid conveying channel within the housing, and a check element positioned in the channel between the flow control valve, such as a ball valve, and a seat which is complementally configured with the check element to normally seal against backflow. A blocking element may be provided to prevent interference of the check element with the operation of the flow control valve while permitting liquid to flow in an intended downstream direction. Because the occurrence of a backflow event is an undesired and infrequent event which may necessitate investigation, the check element may be sized and made of a material which will move past the seat during pressurized flow, thereby providing an indicator that a backflow event has occurred when the check element is found within the source.12-30-2010
20080277423HOPPER WITH SLIDE DISCHARGE GATE AND METHOD MAKING THE SAME - A hopper bin assembly with a slide discharge gate comprises a hopper section, a slide gate housing, and a pallet. The hopper stores a volume of dry material and includes an outlet. The slide gate housing couples with the hopper and includes a discharge opening that aligns with the outlet of the hopper. A slidable gate that is coupled with the discharge opening controls the flow of material through the discharge opening. The pallet supports the slide gate housing and the hopper and includes openings that receive the forks of a forklift. A method of making at least a portion of the hopper bin assembly includes rotating a resin in a mold along two or more axes within a heated room or chamber. The mold is cooled and the part formed therein is separated into one or more sections.11-13-2008
