The roof seam fastener system comprises a fastening assembly that creates a seal to either the roof membrane or a roofing substrate located directly below the fastening assembly. This fastening assembly also creates a seal against the mechanical fastener member. This combination results in redundancy which prevents any water penetration into the seam from entering the roofing envelope.
