Cymipristone type compounds are a new type glucocorticoid receptor antagonist. Pharmacological test shows that cymipristone has anti-glucocorticoid activity and very strong affinity with glucocorticoid receptor. Test indicates that cymipristone is a glucocorticoid antagonist on receptor level and can block the function of glucocorticoid receptor.
