20110134720METHOD OF USING DIPOLE COMPRESSIONAL DATA TO DETERMINE PROPERTIES OF A SUBTERRANEAN STRUCTURE - To determine properties of a subterranean structure, information relating to dipole compressional data is collected based on measurements by a logging tool in a borehole. The information relating to the dipole compressional data is analyzed in multiple dimensions (e.g., multiple borehole axial planes) to determine the properties of the subterranean structure through which the borehole extends.06-09-2011
20100282508IDENTIFYING A TRAJECTORY FOR DRILLING A WELL CROSS REFERENCE TO RELATED APPLICATION - To control well drilling, information relating to a trajectory of a well is received, and fluid flow in the well is simulated according to the received information. Simulating the fluid production comprises simulating production flow assurance that seeks to reduce occurrence of mixtures of different types of fluids that reduce production of a target fluid. In response to results of the simulating, a further trajectory for further drilling of the well is identified.11-11-2010
20090192773MODIFYING A MAGNIFIED FIELD MODEL - An example method of modifying a model of a field includes presenting a representation of field data in a first window and receiving a selection of a portion of the representation of the field data. The method further includes presenting the portion of the representation in a second window, creating a magnified portion, where the representation and the magnified portion are presented concurrently. The method further includes receiving a request to modify the field data presented in the magnified portion, modifying the field data based on the request, and based on the modified field data, updating the magnified portion and the representation to obtain a modified magnified portion and a modified representation, respectively. The method further includes concurrently presenting the modified magnified portion in the second window and the modified representation in the first window.07-30-2009
