A calendar voice reminder may announce to the subscriber time for medications, appointments or other programs. This feature may be programmed and activated via wired or wireless connection with a computer, or by a smart phone, text message or other communication. GPS may provide the location of the subscriber, e.g., via Google Maps or other location mapping service to the selected individuals in the subscribers secured directory. The device provides a simple two-button interface for initiating and receiving communications, including emergency calling and location tracking. A USB connection or interface may charge the battery and/or to provide programming instructions.
